Abstract

PG Kebon Agung Malang merupakan salah satu peninggalan bersejarah yang hingga saat ini masih beroperasi. Pengembangan kantor PG Kebon Agung Malang terus dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan produksi dan pelayanan kepada pelanggan dengan membangun kantor di kawasan pabrik. Akan tetapi, kantor yang dibangun kurang memiliki identitas pada interior kantor. Kantor PG Kebon Agung Malang juga memiliki fasilitas yang kurang berkualitas, terutama fasilitas berbasis teknologi untuk mendukung kinerja para pegawainya. Maka dari itu, peneliti mengangkat konsep kolonial indische dan technology base untuk memaksimalkan pelaksaan fungsi kantor dengan mengangkat nilai sejarah. Pendekatan colonial indische berfungsi untuk tetap mempertahankan nilai sejarah dan gaya bentuk bangunan kantor sehingga memiliki ciri khas budaya. Pendekatan ini juga dipadukan dengan gaya kontemporer sebagai pendekatan arsitektur yang mengedepankan teknologi untuk menciptakan suasana yang menarik. Technology base yang digunakan diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan sarana dan prasana karyawan PG Kebon Agung Malang sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja karyawan. Pemilihan konsep kolonial indische berbasis teknologi sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan kantor PG Kebon Agung Malang. Adanya fasilitas berbasis teknologi mampu mempermudah pekerjaan karyawan kantor, tetapi desain yang diterapkan memiliki gaya perpaduan antara Indonesia dengan Eropa ditengah moderenisasi yang terus terjadi.

PG Kebon Agung Malang is a historical indische that is still operating today. The factory was founded in 1905 in Malang City, East Java. The development of PG Kebon Agung Malang continues to be carried out to optimize production and service to customers by building an office in the factory area. However, the offices that were built lacked identity in the office interior. The PG Kebon Agung Malang office also has poor quality facilities, especially technology-based facilities to support the performance of its employees. Therefore, researchers raised the concept of colonial indische and technology base to maximize the implementation of office functions by highlighting historical values. The colonial indische approach functions to maintain the historical value and style of the office building so that it has cultural characteristics. This approach is also combined with contemporary style as an architectural approach that prioritizes technology to create an attractive atmosphere. The technology base used is expected to meet the facilities and infrastructure needs of PG Kebon Agung Malang employees so that they can optimize employee performance. The choice of a technology-based colonial indische concept is very suitable for the needs of the PG Kebon Agung Malang office. The existence of technology-based facilities can make the work of office employees easier, but the design applied has historical value amidst ongoing modernization.
