Abstract
Pada saat ini industri biodiesel di Indonesia membuka kesempatan yang besar di bidang industri keseluruhan. Persaingan industri bidang ini pun semakin meningkat sehingga menimbulkan penawaran dengan harga tinggi. Hal tersebut bisa diakibatkan adanya pemborosan di lantai produksi. Penerapan Lean manufacturing diterapkan supaya bisa memetakan semua kegiatan produksi biodiesel. Untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang terjadi melakukan metode kuesioner, setelah mengetahui kondisi baoro kemudian dilakukan analisis terhadap akar penyebab melalui metode 5W, dan melakukan gembba produksi. Riset ini kemudian dilaksanakan melalui process activity mapping guna meninjau peamanfaatan waktu di lantai produksi. Tahapan yang dilaksanakan yakni melalui future state map plan dengan memberikan rancangan perbaikan dan implementasi contiuous improvement dalam produksi biodiesel, sehingga memberikan saving cost produksi biodiesel. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan saving margin produksi sebesar Rp. 1,870,726,000 per tahun serta penerapan contiuous improvement di Biodiesel Plant mampu menurunkan total waktu yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 3,920 jam

Currently, the biodiesel industry in Indonesia opens up huge opportunities in the entire industrial sector. Industrial competition in this field is increasing, giving rise to offers at high prices. This can be caused by waste on the production floor. Lean manufacturing is implemented so that all biodiesel production activities can be mapped. To identify the waste that occurs, use the questionnaire method, after knowing the condition of the waste then carry out an analysis of the root causes using the 5W method, and carry out production gamba. This research was then carried out through process activity mapping to review time use on the production floor. The stages implemented are through a future state map plan by providing improvement plans and implementation of continuous improvement in biodiesel production, thus providing savings in biodiesel production costs. The results of this research obtained a production saving margin of Rp. 1,870,726,000 per year and the implementation of continuous improvement at the Biodiesel Plant can reduce the total time required by 3,920 hours
