Abstract

Upaya transisi energi di Kota Surabaya yang tengah dilakukan ditujukan untuk mendukung pencapaian terhadap komitmen Indonesia dalam penurunan emisi GRK sebesar 31,89% dengan kemampuan sendiri dan 43,2% bantuan internasional di tahun 2030. Upaya tersebut perlu dikaji untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampaknya terhadap aspek lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Oleh karena itu studi penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengkaji dampak transisi energi terhadap lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi menggunakan analisis sistem dinamik.
Dampak lingkungan dilakukan dengan perhitungan parameter emisi GRK sektor energi Kota Surabaya tahun 2021-2022 dan menambahkan prediksi penurunan emisi GRK secara nasional dari beberapa sektor industri. Sedangkan aspek sosial yaitu kesiapan masyarakat & dampak sosial dengan indikator kesejahteraan ekonomi, kesehatan, pendidikan, kualitas hidup, dan keterlibatan masyarakat dengan metode kuantitatif kuesioner kepada 113 responden. Aspek ekonomi dengan indikator permintaan sektor industri terhadap perekonomian negara dan energi menggunakan pemodelan sistem dinamik beserta prediksi hingga tahun 2050.
Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan konsumsi energi terbarukan dengan meminimasi penggunaan energi non renewable setiap tahunnya membuat emisi GRK yang dihasilkan mengalami tren penurunan total emisi GRK sebesar 29,07% dari tahun 2021 ke 2022. Adanya transisi energi berdampak pada aspek sosial, ditunjukkan dengan persentase persetujuan masyarakat sebesar 75,11%. Tingkat penerimaan masyarakat Kota Surabaya cukup tinggi terhadap implikasi transisi energi dengan persentase 83,02%. Permintaan setiap sektor industri berpengaruh pada peningkatan output perekonomian dengan keuntungan per sektor yang dapat dijadikan investasi pemakaian renewable energy. Kadar emisi GRK dapat direduksi melalui transisi dari energi fosil ke renewable energy, dan hal tersebut akan meningkatkan perekonomian.

The energy transition efforts in the city of Surabaya that are being carried out are aimed at supporting the achievement of Indonesia's commitment to reduce GHG emissions by 31.89% with its own capabilities and 43.2% of international assistance by 2030. These efforts need to be studied to find out how much impact they have on environmental, social, and economic aspects. Therefore, this research study is aimed at examining the impact of the energy transition on the environment, society, and economy using dynamic system analysis.
The environmental impact is carried out by calculating the GHG emission parameters of the energy sector of Surabaya City in 2021-2022 and adding predictions of GHG emission reductions nationally from several industrial sectors. Meanwhile, the social aspect is community readiness & social impact with indicators of economic welfare, health, education, quality of life, and community involvement with a quantitative method of questionnaire to 113 respondents. Economic aspects with indicators of industrial sector demand for the country's economy and energy using dynamic system modeling along with predictions until 2050.
The results of the research that have been carried out show that increasing renewable energy consumption by minimizing the use of non-renewable energy every year makes the GHG emissions produced experience a downward trend in total GHG emissions of 29.07% from 2021 to 2022. The existence of the energy transition has an impact on the social aspect, shown by the percentage of public approval of 75.11%. The acceptance rate of the people of Surabaya City is quite high towards the implications of the energy transition with a percentage of 83.02%. The demand of each industrial sector has an effect on increasing economic output with profits per sector that can be used as investment in the use of renewable energy. GHG emission levels can be reduced through the transition from fossil energy to renewable energy, and this will improve the economy.
