Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin cepat memunculkan beragam fenomena baru salah satunya adalah fenomena belanja online. Fenomena tersebut dirasakan oleh seluruh kalangan termasuk mahasiswa atau lebih khusus mahasiswa yang menghuni Asrama Mahasiswa ITS. Asrama ITS telah mengatur area pengiriman paket belanja oleh kurir untuk menjaga keamanan dan kenyamanan wilayah asrama. Paket dengan alamat Asrama ITS akan ditaruh di Kantor Gedung H. Terdapat beragam masalah yang terjadi pada aktivitas pengambilan paket di Asrama ITS diantaranya ketidakpastian jam buka kantor, ketidakefisienan penyimpanan paket di rak dan tingkat privasi paket yang berkurang. Perancangan dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi kepada permasalan tersebut dengan berkolaborasi dengan sistem IoT agar produk dapat diakses kapan saja. Penggunaan teknologi pintar, kemudahan akses ke loker dan keamanan paket belanja merupakan tiga poin objektif dalam desain loker paket belanja online berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metodologi kuliatitatif serta penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan mengambil data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diambil dari hasil observasi dan wawarcara pihak terkait serta data sekunder dari buku, jurnal, artikel, dsb. Perancangan dimulai dengan menganalisis kebutuhan paket di asrama dengan cara survey langsung untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut sehingga ditemukan optimasi dimensi, jumlah unit, hingga alur penggunaan produk loker. Loker yang memiliki konsep smart technology dan minimalis diaplikasikan bersama sistem desain modular dimana jumlah unit loker nantinya dapat disesuaikan kebutuhan. Hasil dari perancangan adalah produk loker yang terintegrasi dengan sistem IoT dan alur pemakaian loker yaitu melalui website yang ada pada layar monitor di loker. Pada penelitian ini loker dihadirkan ke dalam tiga modul dimana tiap modul memiliki jumlah unit berbeda yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan mitra.

The rapid development of technology has given rise to various new phenomena, one of which is online shopping. This phenomenon affects all groups, including students, particularly those living in the ITS Student Dormitory. The ITS Dormitory has arranged a shopping package delivery area by courier to maintain the security and comfort of the dormitory area. Packages addressed to the ITS Dormitory will be placed in the H Building Office.Various problems occur in package collection activities at the ITS Dormitory, including uncertainty of office opening hours, inefficiency of package storage on shelves, and reduced levels of package privacy. The design was carried out to provide solutions to these problems by collaborating with the IoT system so that products can be accessed at any time. The use of smart technology, easy access to lockers, and security of shopping packages are three key objectives in the design of online shopping package lockers based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The methods used in the study include qualitative methodology and research and development. Data collection is carried out by gathering primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from observations and interviews with related parties, while secondary data comes from books, journals, articles, etc. The design begins by analyzing the needs of the dormitory package through a direct survey for further analysis, leading to the optimization of dimensions, number of units, and the flow of use of the locker product. Lockers featuring smart technology and a minimalist concept are applied with a modular design system, allowing the number of locker units to be adjusted according to needs. The result of the design is a locker product integrated with the IoT system, with the flow of locker usage managed through a website on the monitor screen in the locker. In this study, lockers are presented in three modules, each with a different number of units that can be adjusted to the needs of users and partners.
