Abstract

With the advancement of knowledge in the field of telecommunications, particularly in the realm of satellite internet services, the development of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite internet has become a frequently discussed topic. LEO satellites are satellites that orbit at low altitudes around the Earth, typically ranging from 160 to 2,000 kilometers above the Earth's surface.
LEO satellite internet services have the potential to serve as one of the internet service providers for the public. Despite having numerous advantages over previous satellite technologies, a significant portion of the population remains unaware of the Quality of Service (QoS) provided by this satellite technology, primarily due to its relatively recent commercial introduction.
One way to assess the Quality of Service (QoS) of the internet is by analyzing TIPHON-based services. Parameters measured in the quality of internet network services include throughput, delay, packet loss and jitter. In this context, a QoS analysis of LEO satellite internet is conducted using Wireshark software, providing the community with insights into the quality of internet networks offered by LEO satellite internet service providers.
