Abstract
Proses penyembuhan yang efektif mempertimbangkan seluruh aspek individu, termasuk aspek fisiologis dan psikologis. Pendekatan holistik ini sangat penting untuk mencapai pemulihan dan kesehatan secara optimal. Menciptakan lingkungan interior yang aman dan nyaman sangat penting untuk mengurangi kecemasan dan ketakutan selama hospitalisasi. Oleh karena itu, perancangan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan sarana rumah sakit di Indonesia dalam menangani aspek psikologis pasien. Penulis memilih objek rumah sakit Husada Utama karena objek ini merupakan salah satu rumah sakit swasta di surabaya yang memiliki fasilitas dan pelayanan yang cukup memadai. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking secara menyeluruh, mencakup observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Setelah mendapatkan riset, dengan mempertimbangkan standar kesehatan, penulis menggambarkan masalah utama seputar desain interior ruang rawat inap anak, dengan tujuan mendukung kenyamanan selama proses penyembuhan dan tetap sesuai dengan standar kesehatan. Setelah menemukan permasalahan tersebut, penulis mengembangkan konsep Healing Environment yang mengedepankan aspek lingkungan, psikologi dan juga Indra manusia. Desain khusus untuk anak-anak juga diaplikasikan untuk mengalihkan perhatian mereka sehingga dapat mengurangi rasa takut dan cemas. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan mereka terhadap rumah sakit ini.

An effective healing process considers all aspects of the individual, including physiological and psychological aspects. This holistic approach is essential to achieve optimal recovery and health. Creating a safe and comfortable interior environment is essential to reduce anxiety and fear during hospitalization. Therefore, this design aims to optimize hospital infrastructure in Indonesia in handling the psychological aspects of patients. The author chose the Husada Utama Hospital as the object because this object is one of the private hospitals in Surabaya that has adequate facilities and services. The author uses a comprehensive Design Thinking approach, including field observations and interviews. After obtaining research, by considering health standards, the author describes the main problems surrounding the interior design of the children's inpatient room, with the aim of supporting comfort during the healing process and remaining in accordance with health standards. After finding these problems, the author developed the Healing Environment concept that prioritizes environmental aspects, psychology and also human senses. Special designs for children are also applied to divert their attention so that they can reduce fear and anxiety. Based on this, it is expected to increase their trust in this hospital.
