Abstract

Surabaya, sebagai salah satu kota terbesar di Indonesia, memiliki populasi muslim yang
signifikan. Dengan keebutuhan untuk menyajikan pengalaman kuliner yang sesuai dengan
prinsip-prinsip halal yang meningkat seiring waktu, penelitian ini berupaya untuk menjawab
peningkatan kebutuhan tersebut dengan fokus pada pengembangan sistem rekomendasi rute
berbasis Genetic Algorithm. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemilihan
destinasi kuliner halal, mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor seperti lokasi, preferensi, dan batasan
waktu. Tujuan proyek ini melibatkan pengembangan algoritma dan implementasinya dalam
sistem praktis, yang mengakomodasi penduduk setempat dan wisatawan yang mencari opsi
kuliner halal. Luaran berupa sistem berbasis REST API ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya
pengalaman kuliner, mendukung bisnis lokal, dan mempromosikan pariwisata kuliner halal di
Surabaya.

halal culinary destinations, taking into consideration factors such as location, preferences, and
time constraints. The project's objectives involve the development of the algorithm and its
implementation into a practical system, catering to both local residents and tourists seeking
halal culinary options. The anticipated outcomes, a REST API-based system, aspire to not only
enhance culinary experiences but also to support local businesses and promote halal culinary
tourism in Surabaya.
