Abstract

This thesis examines the influence of traffic limitations on the operational efficiency of Boom Baru Port. The study attempts to gain a full understanding of the elements truck round time by utilizing a mixed methods approach. The study employs quantitative data to measure the yard occupancy ratio and qualitative data to obtain insights into the effects of traffic restrictions on truck round time. Furthermore, interviews conducted with pertinent officials provide insight into the origins and impacts of the traffic restrictions in Palembang. The results of this study enhance the discussion on the effectiveness of port operations and provide valuable insights for reducing the negative effects of traffic restrictions on port activities.
