Abstract
Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) telah menjadi bahan konstruksi yang semakin populer dan penting dalam industri konstruksi modern karena memiliki sifat-sifat unggul, seperti kekuatan tinggi, ketahanan korosi, dan daya tahan yang luar biasa. Salah satu faktor kunci dalam mencapai kinerja UHPC yang unggul adalah penggunaan superplasticizer. Superplasticizer adalah bahan tambahan dalam campuran beton yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan aliran dan daya sebar beton, serta mengurangi kebutuhan udara dalam campuran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi perbandingan antara komposisi varian superplasticizer dalam UHPC dan mempertimbangkan pengaruhnya terhadap kekuatan tekan dan flowability. Dua jenis superplasticizer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah superplasticizer naphthalene (SNF) dan superplasticizer polycarboxylate (PCE) dengan masing masing komposisi sebesar 1%, 1,5%, dan 2%. Metode penelitian melibatkan pengujian material untuk mengetahui karakteristik material dan perancangan mix design, selanjutnya menjelaskan mengenai pencampuran, perawatan dan pengujian berbagai campuran UHPC dengan variasi superplasticizer dan komposisi. Pengujian dilakukan untuk mengukur flowability menggunakan metode mini slump flow sesuai dengan ASTM C1856, serta kekuatan tekan awal pada umur 1, 3, dan 7 hari sesuai dengan peraturan ASTM C39-C39M-01. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan dalam kinerja UHPC berdasarkan komposisi superplasticizer yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan superplasticizer PCE dengan komposisi 1,5% memberikan flowability dan early strength tertinggi dengan nilai flow sebesar 200 mm dan kuat tekan awal pada umur 7 hari sebesar 71,1 MPa. Sedangkan pada superplasticizer SNF memperoleh nilai flow sebesar 110 mm dan kuat tekan awal 7 hari tertinggi sebesar 39 MPa. Perbedaan ini disebabkan oleh struktur molekul PCE yang memiliki karakteristik dapat mendispersi partikel semen dan membuat hidrasi semen lebih cepat.Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa varian dan komposisi superplasticizer memiliki pengaruh terhadap sifat flowability dan kekuatan awal UHPC.

Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) has become an increasingly popular and important construction material in the modern construction industry due to its superior properties, such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent durability. One of the key factors in achieving superior UHPC performance is the use of superplasticizers. Superplasticizers are additives in concrete mixtures that are used to increase the flow and spread ability of concrete, as well as reduce the need for air in the mixture. This study aims to conduct a comparative study between the composition of superplasticizer variants in UHPC and consider their effects on compressive strength and flowability. Two types of superplasticizers used in this study are naphthalene superplasticizer (SNF) and polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE) with compositions of 1%, 1.5%, and 2%, respectively. The research method involves material testing to determine material characteristics and mix design, then explains the mixing, curing and testing of various UHPC mixtures with variations in superplasticizers and compositions. Testing was conducted to measure flowability using the mini slump flow method in accordance with ASTM C1856, as well as initial compressive strength at the ages of 1, 3, and 7 days in accordance with ASTM C39-C39M-01 regulations. The data obtained will be analyzed to identify differences in UHPC performance based on different superplasticizer compositions. The results showed that the use of PCE superplasticizer with a composition of 1.5% provided the highest flowability and early strength with a flow value of 200 mm and an initial compressive strength at the age of 7 days of 71.1 MPa. While the SNF superplasticizer obtained a flow value of 110 mm and the highest initial compressive strength of 7 days of 39 MPa. This difference is due to the molecular structure of PCE which has the characteristics of being able to disperse cement particles and make cement hydration faster. It can be concluded that the variant and composition of the superplasticizer influence the flowability and early strength properties of UHPC.
