Abstract
Omnidirectional conveyour, juga dikenal sebagai konveyor yang bergerak dalam semua arah. Omnidirectional conveyour merupakan jenis sistem konveyor khusus yang dirancang untuk memindahkan barang dalam berbagai arah di atas permukaan konveyor. Konveyor tradisional biasanya hanya bisa memindahkan barang dalam satu arah, baik lurus maupun melengkung, dan memerlukan mekanisme kompleks atau peralatan tambahan untuk mengubah arahnya. Omnidirectional conveyour menggunakan desain kombinasi pengaturan sabuk konveyor dengan konfigurasi rol atau roda tertentu.
Dengan kombinasi tersebut dapat memindahkan barang ke segala arah di sepanjang panjang konveyor tanpa perlu penyesuaian manual atau penyesuaian mekanis yang rumit. Namun, maksimal load yang dapat diangkut Omnidirectional Conveyor kurang maksimal dikarenakan shaft dan bearing tidak mampu menahan beban 2kg. Oleh karena itu, pada buku ini membahas tentang perancangan shaft dan bearing pada mesin Omnidirectional Conveyor. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian proyek akhir ini, penulis melaksanakan studi literatur, observasi lapangan, pendesainan gambar teknik serta pemilihan komponen yang sesuai. Setelah itu dilakukan simulasi dengan menggunakan software Ansys.
Dalam perancangan shaft dan bearing pada mesin Omnidirectional Conveyor dengan maksimal load 2kg. Posisi shaft terletak dibawah meja, shaft dari mesin Omnidirectional Conveyor ada 2 dengan diameter yang sama tetapi Panjang shaft berbeda. Shaft pertama untuk Omni Wheels dengan diameter 80mm, untuk shaft kedua untuk Omni Wheels dengan diameter 60mm. Bearing terdapat 3 setiap satu shaft di pojok kiri, kanan dan tengah. Maka dari itu diperlukan perancangan shaft dan bearing sehingga didapatkan material yang dipakai, maksimal beban yang di tumpu oleh shaft, rekomendasi diameter shaft dan rekomendasi bearing.

Omnidirectional conveyors, also known as conveyors move in all directions. The omnidirectional conveyor is a special type of conveyor system designed to move goods in various directions on a conveyor surface. Traditional conveyors can usually only move goods in one direction, either straight or curved, and require complex mechanisms or additional equipment to change direction. Omnidirectional conveyors use a combination design of a conveyor belt arrangement with a specific roller or wheel configuration.
This combination can move goods in any direction along the conveyor without the need for manual adjustments or complicated mechanical adjustments. However, the capacity that can be transported by the OmniDirectional Conveyor is less than optimal because the shaft and bearing are not able to withstand a load of 2kg. Therefore, this book discusses the design of shafts and bearings on OmniDirectional Conveyor machines. In carrying out this final project research, the author carried out literature studies, field observations, designing technical drawings, and selecting appropriate components. After that, a simulation was carried out using Ansys software.
In designing shafts and bearings on OmniDirectional Conveyor machines with a capacity of 2kg. The position of the shaft is located under the table, there are 2 shafts from the OmniDirectional Conveyor machine with the same diameter but different shaft lengths. The first shaft is for Omni Wheels with a diameter of 80mm, the second shaft is for Omni Wheels with a diameter of 60mm. There are 3 bearings per axis in the left, right and middle corners. Therefore, it is necessary to design the shaft and bearings so that the material used, the maximum load supported by the shaft, the recommended shaft diameter, and bearing recommendations are obtained.
