Abstract
Gangguan stabilitas transien berkaitan dengan masalah besar yang muncul secara tiba-tiba dan dalam waktu yang singkat seperti gangguan hubung singkat, putusnya saluran oleh peralatan CB, dan perpindahan beban secara tiba-tiba. Plan Smelter Nikel di Sulawesi merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi tambang dan pengolahan nikel yang sangat banyak, sehingga membutuhkan suplai listrik dari pembangkit. Kebutuhan listrik utama pada Plan Smelter Nikel disuplai oleh 3 unit PLTA, diantaranya yaitu PLTA Larona, PLTA Balambano, dan PLTA Karebbe. Kestabilan transien dan mekanisme pelepasan beban penting untuk menjaga operasi optimal sistem kelistrikan. Namun, faktor lingkungan seperti zona kasar dapat mengakibatkan gangguan dan ketidakstabilan pada sistem tersebut, terutama di lingkungan tambang yang tidak merata atau kasar. Gangguan listrik seperti lonjakan tegangan, penurunan tajam, atau pemutusan listrik tiba-tiba dapat merusak peralatan elektronik yang sensitif dan mengganggu proses produksi. Berdasarkan skenario yang dijalankan, sistem kelistrikan di Plan Smelter Nikel diperkirakan akan kembali beroperasi secara continuous setelah mengalami gangguan, dengan menerapkan skema pelepasan beban menggunakan metode status dan pengecekan pada pembangkit agar tidak menyentuh area rough zone dengan batas 30%-50%. Simulasi menunjukkan bahwa metode status dapat menjadi pilihan utama untuk pelepasan beban.

Transient stability disturbances are related to major problems that appear suddenly and in a short time such as short circuit faults, line breaks by CB equipment, and sudden load shifts. Plan Smelter Nikel in Sulawesi is a company that produces a lot of nickel mining and processing, so it requires electricity supply from the plant. The main electricity demand at the Nickel Smelter Plan is supplied by 3 hydropower units, including Larona Hydropower, Balambano Hydropower, and Karebbe Hydropower. Transient stability and load shedding mechanisms are important to maintain optimal operation of the electrical system. However, environmental factors such as rough zones can result in disturbances and instability in such systems, especially in uneven or rough mining environments. Electrical disturbances such as voltage spikes, sharp dips or sudden power cuts can damage sensitive electronic equipment and disrupt production processes. Based on the scenario run, the electrical system at the Nickel Smelter Plan is expected to return to continuous operation after experiencing a disturbance, by applying a load shedding scheme using the status method and checking the generator so that it does not touch the rough zone area with a limit of 30%-50%. The simulation shows that the status method can be the main choice for load shedding.
