Abstract

Fakultas Sains dan Analitika Data (FSAD) ITS memiliki total 3236 mahasiswa pada 2022
dari data Direktorat Pendidikan ITS diketahui meningkat sejumlah 354 mahasiswa dari tahun
mahasiswa baru FSAD ITS pada tahun ajaran baru 2024 mendatang. Untuk mengakomodasi
peningkatan mahasiswa baru Fakultas Sains dan Analitika Data ITS, lantai 10 di Gedung Tower
1 ITS dialokasikan.
sesuai kebutuhan di lantai 10 Tower 1 ITS.
ITS.

New learning spaces in the form of buildings in the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh
Nopember zone has been implemented to address the increasing number of new students each
year, thanks to ITS's reputation as a leading higher education institution. The Faculty of
Analytical Data Science (FSAD) admitted 880 students in 2024 with total of 3,495 students in
2023, increased 200 students compared to the previous year. 10th floor of ITS Tower 1 Building
has been allocated to accommodate activities and provide facilities according to new users
needs. A supportive interior design is required to strengthen the faculty's image, build identity,
and increase the sense of attachment of faculty members. Interior design becomes an effective
communication medium to reflect the identity, character, and values of a higher education
institution. The goal is not only to reflect the character of the faculty but also to provide a
consistent and strong visual experience for the academic community and visitors. The research
focuses on arranging various interior elements in an effort to find a design that can help
accommodate the activities of the Faculty of Science and Data Analytics on the 10th floor of
the ITS Science Tower. The research results will illustrate the ability of interiors to strengthen
the branding of an institution through various roles of space-forming.
