Abstract

Desa Medowo ditetapkan sebagai desa wisata pada tahun 2018, jenis wisata yang
ditawarkan berupa Air Terjun Jodo, Air Terjun Tretes, Wisata Sapi Perah, dan Wisata Bukit
Gandrung. Namun Desa Wisata Medowo mengalami penurunan pengunjung seiring
berjalannya waktu. Pada tahun 2018 kunjungan Desa Wisata Medowo sebanyak 18.731
pengunjung, pada tahun 2023 terdapat 11.464 pengunjung. Desa Medowo menghadapi tingkat
masalah pengangguran, sebanyak 400 orang dalam status tidak bekerja. Tingkat pengangguran
dapat ditekan dengan adanya desa wisata. Permasalahan wisata pada Desa Medowo didapatkan
dengan tidak adanya pengelolaan wisata, hal ini ditandai oleh tidak adanya aktivitas pariwisata
pada wisata Air Terjun Jodo, Lembah Gandrung, Wisata Sapi Perah. Wisata aktif pada Desa
Medowo merupakan Wisata Bukit Gandrung milik swasta yang tidak dikelola langsung oleh
pihak desa. sehingga dibutuhkan arahan pengembangan Desa Wisata Medowo agar Desa
Medowo dapat mandiri dalam mengelola desa wisatanya
Tahap pertama menentukan faktor berpengaruh dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata
Medowo dengan menggunakan analisis delphi dan AHP untuk menentukan faktor prioritas.
Analisis kedua menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik kondisi
eksisting pada Desa Wisata Medowo. Tahapan terakhir menggunakan metode analisis
deksriptif kualitatif untuk merumuskan arahan pengembangan Desa Wisata Medowo.
Diperoleh hasil analisis delphi terdapat 14 faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap arahan
pengembangan Desa Wisata Medowo. Faktor prioritas pada Desa Wisata Medowo yaitu
something to do, something to buy, kelembagaan, pemasaran, dan SDM. Hasil arahan
menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara menyilangkan antara kondisi eksisting,
potensi dan masalah serta mengutip dari best practice sehingga dapat tersimpulkan hasil arahan
berupa tahapan yaitu (1) Menyusun paket Wisata dengan macam kegiatan (memeras susu, river
tubing, hiking, maupun outbound) (2) Pengembangan dan pelatihan masyarakat melalui
program pengabdian masyarakat (3) Pelatihan dalam pengelolaan hingga pemasaran produk
olahan komoditas lokal (4) Penatapan lembaga swadaya masyarakat berupa POKDARWIS
sebagai inisiator dan penggerak desa wisata (4) Pelatihan digital branding dalam peningkatan
pemasaran desa wisata (5) pelatihan SDM dalam penerapan sapta pesona.

Medowo Village was established as a tourist village in 2018, the types of tours offered are
Jodo Waterfall, Tretes Waterfall, Dairy Cow Tourism, and Gandrung Hill Tourism. However,
Medowo Tourism Village experienced a decline in visitors over time. In 2018, there were
18,731 visitors to Medowo Village, while in 2023 there were 11,464 visitors. Medowo village
faces a level of unemployment problem, as many as 400 people in the status of not working.
The unemployment rate can be reduced by the presence of a tourist village. Tourism problems
in Medowo Village are obtained by the absence of tourism management, this is characterized
by the absence of tourism activities on Jodo Waterfall, Gandrung Valley, Dairy Cattle Tourism.
Active tourism in Medowo Village is a privately owned Gandrung Hill Tourism which is not
managed directly by the village. so that the direction of the development of Medowo Tourism
Village is needed so that Medowo Village can be independent in managing its tourism village.
The first stage determines the influential factors in the development of Medowo Tourism
Village by using delphi and AHP analysis to determine the priority factors. The second analysis
uses descriptive methods to identify the characteristics of existing conditions in Medowo
Tourism Village. The last stage uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method to formulate
directions for the development of Medowo Tourism Village.
The results of the delphi analysis showed that there were 14 factors that influenced the
direction of the development of Medowo Tourism Village. Priority factors in Medowo Tourism
Village are something to do, something to buy, institutional, marketing, and human resources.
The results of the direction using qualitative descriptive methods by crossing between existing
conditions, potential and problems and quoting from best practice so that it can be concluded
the results of the direction in the form of stages, namely (1) Arranging tour packages with a
variety of activities (milk squeezing, river tubing, hiking, and outbound) (2) Community
development and training through community service programs (3) Training in the management
and marketing of processed local commodity products (4) Establishment of a non-governmental
organization in the form of POKDARWIS as an initiator and driver of tourism villages (4)
Digital branding training in improving tourism village marketing (5) HR training in the
