Abstract

Pengelolaan yang baik terhadap rimba kota seharusnya lebih diprioritaskan dibandingkan dengan peningkatan luasannya, mengingat ketersediaan lahan di Jakarta sudah sangat terbatas akibat peningkatan jumlah penduduk. Pengelolaan tersebut dapat dimulai di kawasan yang dirancang dengan konsep kota kompak dan/atau kota hijau, seperti Kawasan Kemayoran dengan Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran sebagai objek studi kasusnya. Pengelolaan yang baik terhadap Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran mampu mengimplementasikan strategi penataan Kawasan Kemayoran terkait pembangunan berwawasan lingkungan serta berkontribusi dalam mengonservasi berbagai jenis burung karena keberadaanya ditetapkan sebagai rimba kota konservasi sekaligus menjadi salah satu akses yang digunakan burung sebagai koridor terbang pada saat melakukan migrasi ketika melalui Jakarta. Ditambah lagi, pemantauan dan penilaian terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan penting untuk dilakukan demi mempertahankan kualitas lingkungannya pascarevitalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan arahan keberlanjutan pengelolaan lingkungan Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran dengan mengadopsi model keberlanjutan rimba kota. Tujuan tersebut dapat dicapai melalui 3 sasaran (1) menganalisis variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran, (2) menilai status keberlanjutan pengelolaan lingkungan Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran, serta (3) merumuskan arahan keberlanjutan pengelolaan lingkungan Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran. Adapun metode pengumpulan data dilakukan secara primer dan sekunder melalui wawancara berbasis kuesioner dengan 5 responden kunci, observasi lapangan, survei instansi, serta studi literatur. Sedangkan, metode analisis datanya menggunakan metode campuran kualitatif-kuantitatif dengan analisis Delphi untuk mencapai sasaran-1, analisis Skoring dan AHP untuk mencapai sasaran-2, serta analisis Deskriptif Komparatif untuk mencapai sasaran-3. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa (1) terdapat 21 variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran berdasarkan kesepakatan dari 5 responden kunci, (2) status keberlanjutan pengelolaan lingkungan Rimba Kota Utan Kemayoran tergolong cukup berkelanjutan dengan indeks keberlanjutannya sebesar 1,88 dari 3,00, dan (3) terdapat 4 rumusan arahan dengan 23 potensi tindakan yang terkait dengan pelestarian terhadap keberadaan pohon lokal, pengoptimalan fungsi & manfaat langsung serta tidak langsung pohon, konservasi terhadap habitat migrasi satwa burung, serta penyusunan basis data pohon & satwa liar secara partisipatif.

Good management of urban forests should be prioritized compared to increasing its area, considering that the availability of land in Jakarta is already very limited due to the increase in population. The management can be started in areas designed with the concept of compact cities and/or green cities, such as the Kemayoran Area with the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest as the object of the case study. Good management of the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest can implement the Kemayoran Area planning strategy related to environmentally friendly development and contribute to the conservation of various types of birds because its existence is designated as a conservation urban forest as well as one of the accesses used by birds as a flight corridor when migrating through Jakarta. In addition, monitoring and assessment of environmental management is important to be carried out to maintain the quality of the environment after revitalization. This study aims to formulate a direction for the sustainability of environmental management of the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest by adopting the urban forest sustainability model. This objective can be achieved through 3 targets (1) analyzing variables that affect the environmental sustainability of the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest, (2) assessing the sustainability status of the environmental management of the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest, and (3) formulating a direction for the sustainability of environmental management of the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest. The data collection method was carried out primary and secondary through questionnaire-based interviews with 5 key respondents, field observations, institutional surveys, and literature studies. Meanwhile, the data analysis method uses a qualitative-quantitative mixed method with Delphi analysis to achieve target-1, Scoring and AHP analysis to achieve target-2, and Comparative Descriptive analysis to achieve target-3. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that (1) there are 21 variables that affect the environmental sustainability of the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest based on the consensus of 5 key respondents, (2) the sustainability status of the environmental management of the Utan Kemayoran Urban Forest is classified as quite sustainable with a sustainability index of 1.88 out of 3.00, and (3) there are 4 directive formulations with 23 potential actions related to the preservation of the existence of local trees, optimization of direct and indirect functions & benefits of trees, conservation of migratory bird habitats, and participatory preparation of tree & wildlife databases.
