Abstract

=========================================================== In a water supply system (PDAM), water quality control is crucial to ensure that the water provided meets health and environmental standards. This study examines the use of Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance (MEWMV) and Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance Average (MEWMA) Control Maps in water quality control at PDAM Surabaya City. MEWMV is implemented with optimal parameter ω of 0.5 and λ of 0.9, while MEWMA uses optimal λ of 0.9. The water quality data used includes turbidity, pH, residual chlorine, and organic matter measured over a period of time. Analyses were conducted on the historical data to determine the control limits in accordance with the water quality specifications. The results of the analysis showed that the water production process at IPAM Ngagel I was able to maintain turbidity and pH within the set specification limits. However, there are challenges in maintaining consistent water production with appropriate levels of residual chlorine and organic matter. This research makes an important contribution to the development of water quality control methods using the MEWMV and MEWMA approaches.
