Abstract

Kebutuhan akan energi listrik merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok bagi manusia, di mana setiap kegiatan masyarakat saat ini tidak dapat terlepas dari ketergantungan pada tenaga listrik. Sistem tenaga listrik yang ada pada daerah Sulawesi Bagian Selatan atau lebih dikenal dengan Sulbagsel merupakan salah satu sistem tenaga listrik di Indonesia yang bisa menjadi representasi tepat untuk kasus kebutuhan tenaga listrik. Makassar sebagai ibukota dari Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan mengalami pertumbuhan yang baik. Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang terjadi tentunya juga mendorong peningkatan kebutuhan listrik yang cukup signifikan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya keseimbangan penyediaan kapasitas daya listrik yang optimal dan andal di sistem Sulbagsel. Dalam upaya untuk memastikan optimalitas operasional suatu sistem tenaga listrik, diperlukan pembuatan suatu model penjadwalan pembangkit yang dikenal sebagai Unit Commitment.

The need for electrical energy is one of the basic needs for humans, where every community activity today cannot be separated from dependence on electrical power. The electric power system in the Southern Sulawesi region or better known as Sulbagsel is one of the electric power systems in Indonesia which can be an appropriate representation for cases of electricity needs. Makassar as the capital of South Sulawesi Province is experiencing good growth. The economic growth that has occurred has of course also driven a significant increase in electricity demand. Therefore, there needs to be a balance in providing optimal and reliable electrical power capacity in the Sulbagsel system. In an effort to ensure operational optimality of an electric power system, it is necessary to create a generator scheduling model known as Unit Commitment.
