Abstract

Danau Rawa Pening merupakan salah satu danau alam terbesar di pulau Jawa dengan luas permukaan ± 2.380 Ha. Seperti kondisi danau pada umumnya di Indonesia, Danau Rawa Pening ini mengalami sedimentasi. Sedimentasi menyebabkan pendangkalan yang mengakibatkan berkurangnya kedalaman Danau Rawa Pening dari 15 m menjadi 3 m, lebar danau juga mengecil, sehingga volume tampungan waduk terjadi penyusutan. Sedimentasi di Danau Rawa Pening dipengaruhi pembusukan tanaman seperti eceng gondok, salvinia, ganggang dan hidrilia. Selain itu sedimentasi disebabkan oleh sungai-sungai yang bermuara di Danau Rawa Pening, salah satunya yakni Sungai Klegung. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dipelukan perencanaan Bangunan Pengendali Sedimen pada Das Klegung berupa check dam. Perencanaan bangunan air check dam diawali dengan perhitungan debit banjir rencana dilanjutkan dengan perencanaan bangunan air check dam. Perencanaan bangunan check dam yang telah di tentukan kemudian di uji stabilitas strukturnyanya. Jika bangunan check dam dinyatakan sudah aman maka desain dapat digunakan dan dilanjutkan menggambar desain bangunan check dam. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh data-data antara lain debit banjir periode ulang 50 tahun sebesar 100,51 m3/detik, lebar mercu peluap bendung utama 2 m, tinggi bangunan bendung utama 5 m, tebal lantai kolam olak 1,2 m, panjang lantai kolam olak 40m. dengan volume sedimentasi sebesar 92.544,69 m3/tahun.

Rawa Pening Lake is one of the largest natural lakes on the island of Java, with a surface area of approximately 2,380 hectares. Similar to the condition of many lakes in Indonesia, Rawa Pening Lake experiences sedimentation. Sedimentation causes shallowing, reducing the depth of Rawa Pening Lake from 15 meters to 3 meters. The lake's width also decreases, leading to a reduction in the reservoir's volume. Sedimentation in Rawa Pening Lake is influenced by the decomposition of plants such as water hyacinth, salvinia, algae, and hydrilla. Additionally, sedimentation is caused by rivers flowing into Rawa Pening Lake, including the Klegung River. To address these issues, a sediment control structure in the form of a check dam is needed. The planning of the check dam structure begins with calculating the planned flood discharge, followed by designing the check dam structure. The designed check dam structure is then tested for its structural stability. If the check dam structure is deemed safe, the design can be used, and the process continues with drawing the check dam From the analysis, data were obtained including a flood discharge with a 50-year return period of 100.51 m3/second, a main dam spillway width of 2 m, a main dam height of 5 m, a sedimentation pool floor thickness of 1.2 m, and a sedimentation pool floor length of 40 m. The sediment volume is 92,544.69 m3/year.
