Abstract

Pusat Riset Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya, berperan sebagai pusat penelitian yang penting untuk kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan di kampus. Meskipun memiliki peran strategis, saat ini gedung ini masih dapat dioptimalkan karena masih kurangnya fasilitas pendukung yang esensial. Tugas Akhir ini difokuskan kepada rencana desain interior yang nantinya akan berpengaruh kepada pemenuhan kebutuhan sarana prasarana untuk menunjang kegiatan di dalam gedung. Metode desain yang digunakan adalah melalui tahapan desain yang dimulai dengan pengambilan data melalui survey, kuisioner, dan wawancara. Kemudian melalkukan analisa pembanding untuk menentukan kebutuhan interior. Melakukan proses desain dengan membuat alternatif, dan gambaran presentatif. Hingga melakukan penilaian dengan weighted method untuk menentukan desain akhir yang paling sesuai. Mengidentifikasi kebutuhan esensial, diperlukan penambahan fasilitas – fasilitas yang penting. Guna meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan pelayanan, perlu ditambahkan area resepsionis yang akan memberikan sambutan yang ramah dan bermanfaat bagi pengunjung dan pengguna gedung. Penambahan lounge dan lobi akan menciptakan ruang kolaboratif yang nyaman. Penambahan fasilitas kantin sebagai upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan pengguna. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, restrukturisasi lantai satu Gedung Research Center bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih dinamis, mendukung kolaborasi, dan memberikan pengalaman positif bagi pengguna gedung serta mempromosikan identitas kampus secara efektif dengan menggunakan eco tech sebagai style nya.

The Research Center of the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya, acts as an important research center for the advancement of science on campus. Even though it has a strategic role, currently this building can still be optimized because it still lacks essential supporting facilities. This final assignment focuses on interior design plans which will later influence the fulfillment of infrastructure needs to support activities in the building. The design method used is through the design stages which begin with data collection through surveys, questionnaires and interviews. Then carry out a comparative analysis to determine interior needs. Carrying out the design process by creating alternatives and presentation images. Up to carrying out an assessment using a weighted method to determine the most suitable final design. Identifying essential needs requires additional important facilities. In order to improve accessibility and service, it is necessary to add receptionist area that will provide a friendly welcome for visitors and building users. The addition of a lounge and lobby will create a comfortable collaborative space. The addition of canteen facilities as an effort to fulfill user needs. With these steps, the restructuring of the first floor of the Research Center Building aims to create a more dynamic environment, support collaboration, and provide a positive experience for building users as well as promote campus identity effectively by using eco tech as its style.
