Abstract

Perangkat lunak fuel oil consumption & CII calculator yang dirancang pada tugas akhir ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui jumlah konsumsi bahan bakar serta indeks intensitas karbon dari sebuah kapal yang nantinya dapat diolah lebih lanjut seperti peningkatan efisiensi dan analisa ekonomi. Dasar perhitungan estimasi bahan bakar yang digunakan dalam sistem perangkat lunak ini yaitu STEAM2 Method yang digagas oleh Jalkanen et. al., juga Hollenbach Method untuk perhitungan tahanan kapal. Sedangkan untuk pembobotan nilai serta rating dari carbon intensity calculator didasari oleh perhitungan yang telah ditetapkan oleh International Maritime Organization (IMO) dalam MEPC.337(76), MEPC.338(76), dan MEPC.339(76). Perangkat lunak ini berhasil dikembangkan dan untuk fungsi seperti pengolahan data kapal, penyimpanan data juga berfungsi secara baik.

The fuel oil consumption & CII calculator software designed in this final project is intended to determine the amount of fuel consumption and carbon intensity index of a ship which can later be processed further such as efficiency improvement and economic analysis. The basis of fuel estimation calculation used in this software system is STEAM2 Method initiated by Jalkanen et. al., also Hollenbach Method for ship resistance calculation. Meanwhile, the value weighting and rating of the carbon intensity calculator are based on the calculations set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in MEPC.337(76), MEPC.338(76), and MEPC.339(76). The software was successfully developed and for functions such as ship data processing, data storage also works well.
