Abstract

Kabupaten Probolinggo menghadapi tantangan serius dalam mengatasi kemiskinan meskipun pertumbuhan ekonomi yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan rumah tangga di wilayah tersebut dengan menggunakan data dari Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas). Metode analisis regresi logistik biner digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh empat aspek utama: demografi, pendidikan, fasilitas rumah tangga, dan kesehatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hanya umur produktif KRT yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kemiskinan rumah tangga sementara variabel lainnya, status pekerjaan tidak stabil, pendidikan rendah, ketersediaan pangan terbatas, kondisi perumahan yang buruk, serta akses terhadap air bersih dan sanitasi tidak berkontribusi signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang dinamika kemiskinan di tingkat lokal dan menekankan perlunya kebijakan yang efektif untuk memperbaiki kondisi tersebut.

Probolinggo Regency faces serious challenges in addressing poverty despite significant economic growth. This study analyzes the factors influencing household poverty in the region using data from the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas). Binary logistic regression analysis is employed to identify the impact of four main aspects: demographics, education, household facilities, and health. The results show that only the productive age of the head of household contributes significantly to household poverty, while other variables such as unstable employment status, low education, limited food availability, poor housing conditions, and access to clean water and sanitation do not significantly contribute to poverty levels. This research provides deep insights into the dynamics of poverty at the local level and emphasizes the need for effective policies to improve these conditions.
