Abstract

The increasing activity and mobility of the people of DKI Jakarta, which is getting better day by day, is the main driver of economic growth in DKI Jakarta. The activities of workers who often cross districts or cities prove that the economy of DKI Jakarta is not only supported by workers who are residents of DKI Jakarta but also come from areas around DKI Jakarta. This states that there is a connection between a region and other regions, especially in terms of the economy. In this research, the GRDP modeling of DKI Jakarta and Bodetabek was carried out using a spatial econometric approach using panel data in which a spatial lag was applied to the independent variables. In this research, the dependent variable is PDRB ADHK and the independent variable consists of Number of Workers, Domestic Investment (PMDN), Foreign Investment (PMA), Investment which is the sum of PMDN and PMA and the Average Years of Schooling variable. This research considers the existence of spatial dependencies between districts or cities using panel data. The best model obtained is the Spatial Durbin Fixed Effect Model (SDM-FE) with significant variables, namely the number of workers, investment, and average years of schooling with an R^2 of 73%. The model illustrates that GRDP in the observed area is influenced by the same cases in adjacent (neighboring) areas.
