Abstract

Lapangan “P” merupakan salah satu lapangan migas yang terletak di Cekungan Kutai, Kalimantan Timur. Karakterisasi reservoir pada lapangan ini dilakukan menggunakan metode seismik atribut dan inversi seismik untuk memahami distribusi dan kualitas reservoir. Metode seismik atribut yang digunakan meliputi atribut RMS Amplitude untuk mengetahui perubahan litologi terutama pada reservoir yang bertipe karbonat dan atribut Sweetness untuk mengidentifikasi sweet spots yang menunjukkan potensi akumulasi hidrokarbon berdasarkan kombinasi amplitude dan frekuensi, sementara metode inversi seismik yang digunakan adalah Inversi Akustik Impendansi Modelbased untuk memperoleh impedansi akustik yang dapat memberikan informasi lebih detail mengenai sifat fisik batuan bawah permukaan. Hasil dari analisis ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas tentang kondisi reservoir bawah permukaan. Metodologi penelitian mencakup analisis tuning thickness, ekstraksi wavelet, well seismic tie, pembuatan peta struktur waktu dan kedalaman, serta analisis atribut RMS Amplitude dan Sweetness serta Inversi seismik AI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur antiklin ditemukan di lokasi sumur Marindan-1 berdasarkan peta struktur kedalaman. Peta atribut RMS Amplitude dan Sweetness menunjukkan dominasi nilai rendah, mengindikasikan terbatasnya potensi hidrokarbon. Inversi impedansi akustik menghasilkan model impedansi akustik (AI) yang lebih akurat dan sesuai dengan data geologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai impedansi akustik yang tinggi pada Sequence 3 Carbonate di kedalaman sekitar 1650 ms mengindikasikan adanya batuan karbonat yang kompak, sementara variasi impedansi pada kedalaman 1750-1850 ms mencerminkan heterogenitas litologi dan potensi reservoar hidrokarbon, didapatkan hasil identifikasi lapisan karbonat tipis dalam formasi ini.

Field "P" is one of the oil and gas fields located in the Kutai Basin, East Kalimantan. Reservoir characterization in this field is carried out using seismic attribute methods and seismic inversion to understand the distribution and quality of the reservoir. The seismic attribute methods used include RMS Amplitude attributes to identify lithology changes, especially in carbonate-type reservoirs, and Sweetness attributes to identify sweet spots that indicate potential hydrocarbon accumulations based on the combination of amplitude and frequency. Meanwhile, the seismic inversion method used is Model-based Acoustic Impedance Inversion to obtain acoustic impedance, providing more detailed information about the physical properties of the subsurface rock. The results of this analysis are expected to provide a clearer picture of subsurface reservoir conditions. The research methodology includes tuning thickness analysis, wavelet extraction, well seismic tie, time and depth structure mapping, as well as analysis of RMS Amplitude and Sweetness attributes, and AI seismic inversion. The results show that an anticline structure was found at the Marindan-1 well location based on the depth structure map. The RMS Amplitude and Sweetness attribute maps indicate a dominance of low values, suggesting limited hydrocarbon potential. The acoustic impedance inversion produced a more accurate acoustic impedance (AI) model in accordance with geological data. The research results indicate that the high acoustic impedance value in the Sequence 3 Carbonate at around 1650 ms depth indicates the presence of compact carbonate rocks, while the impedance variations at depths of 1750-1850 ms reflect lithological heterogeneity and hydrocarbon reservoir potential. Thin carbonate layers within this formation were identified.
