Abstract

Arsitektur menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam menciptakan solusi desain yang sesuai dengan konteks tapak dan kebutuhan spesifik masing-masing proyek. Tugas akhir ini mencakup dua proyek desain arsitektur yang berbeda: perancangan kafe dan co-working space di Purwokerto serta perancangan rumah tinggal dua lantai di Sukoharjo. Pentingnya menerapkan 13 kompetensi Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) dalam perancangan menjadi fokus utama untuk memastikan kualitas dan keberlanjutan proyek. Proyek pertama bertujuan menciptakan sebuah kafe sekaligus co-working space dengan mengadaptasi konsep bangunan hijau. Lokasi di Purwokerto dipilih berdasarkan potensi terhadap peningkatan kebutuhan akan ruang kerja fleksibel dan nyaman. Desain bangunan ini menekankan pada penggunaan material ramah lingkungan dan efisiensi energi, tanpa mengabaikan fungsinya sebagai tempat komersial yang menarik dan fungsional. Proyek kedua adalah perancangan rumah tinggal dua lantai di Sukoharjo yang menghadapi tantangan lahan yang unik dengan jalan utama lebih tinggi daripada lahan. Desain rumah ini mengedepankan pemanfaatan ruang secara optimal dengan konsep modern minimalis. Fokus utama diberikan pada sirkulasi udara dan pencahayaan alami untuk menciptakan lingkungan hunian yang sehat dan hemat energi. Selain itu, perancangan juga mempertimbangkan solusi inovatif untuk mengatasi keterbatasan dan karakteristik lahan yang ada. Melalui penerapan kompetensi IAI dalam perancangan ini, diharapkan dapat dihasilkan solusi desain yang tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional dan estetika, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap lingkungan dan kualitas hidup penggunanya.

Architecture faces various challenges in creating design solutions appropriate to the site context and specific needs of each project. This final project covers two different architectural design projects: the design of a cafe and co-working space in Purwokerto and the design of a two-story house in Sukoharjo. Implementing the 13 competencies of the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) in the design is a key focus to ensure the quality and sustainability of the project. The first project aims to create a cafe and co-working space by adapting the concept of a green building. The location in Purwokerto was chosen based on the potential for increasing demand for flexible and comfortable workspaces. The design of this building emphasizes the use of environmentally friendly materials and energy efficiency, without neglecting its function as an attractive and functional commercial place. The second project is designing a two-story house in Sukoharjo that faces unique land challenges where the main road is higher than the site. The design of this house prioritizes optimal use of space with a modern minimalist concept. The main focus is given to air circulation and natural lighting to create a healthy and energy-efficient living environment. In addition, the design also considers innovative solutions to overcome the limitations and characteristics of the existing site. Through the application of IAI competencies in this design, it is hoped that design solutions can be produced that not only meet functional and aesthetic needs but also have a positive impact on the environment and the quality of life of its users.
