Abstract

Lapangan maupun stadion idealnya didukung dengan faktor penunjang berupa penutup permukaan tanah terutama spesies rumput manila (Zoysia matrella). Aktivitas yang rutin dalam penggunaan lapangan sepak bola menyebabkan kerusakan secara morfologi, anatomi, dan fisiologi tanaman. Diperlukan cahaya buatan dari lampu LED sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam menunjang proses fotosintesis. LED growlight hortisolis tersusun atas cahaya warna biru dan merah berperan dalam meningkatkan proses vegetatif dan proses generatif tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan cahaya LED growlight hortisolis terhadap respon morfologi, anatomi dan fisiologi dari rumput manila (Zoysia matrella) asal Boyolali. Penelitian dilakukan pada Z. matrella dengan perlakuan paparan LED growlight hortisolis di Grow Room dan tanpa LED growlight hortisolis (kontrol) di halaman Green House Departemen Biologi dengan ukuran 30x100 cm sebanyak 3 kali ulangan untuk masing-masing perlakuan. Parameter yang diukur diantaranya data morfologi meliputi panjang tunas, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan produktivitas. Sedangkan data anatomi meliputi kerapatan stomata, persentase stomata, struktur jaringan. Kemudian data fisiologi terdiri dari kadar klorofil dan tingkat keausan. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Independent T-test dan non parametrik Mann-Whitney. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan perbedaan secara signifikan terhadap parameter produktivitas, persentase stomata, struktur jaringan akar, dan tingkat keausan. Nilai hortisolis lebih tinggi daripada kontrol dengan nilai produktivitas 400,15 gram bobot basah dan 194,22 gram bobot kering, parameter persentase stomata membuka senilai 66%, struktur jaringan akar yang direpresentasikan melalui endodermis tipis 0,07 mm dan korteks tebal 0,64 mm, dan tingkat keausan dibuktikan dengan nilai kerapatan yang lebih rendah sebesar 0,32 individu/cm2. Sedangkan pada parameter panjang tunas, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, kerapatan stomata, dan struktur jaringan daun diperoleh hasil yang tidak berbeda signifikan.

Fields and stadiums are ideally supported by supporting factors in the form of ground cover, especially manila grass species (Zoysia matrella). Routine activities in the use of soccer fields cause damage to the morphology, anatomy, and physiology of plants. Artificial light from LED lamps is needed as an alternative to support the photosynthesis process. LED growlight hortisolis composed of blue and red light plays a role in increasing the vegetative and generative processes of plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of exposure to LED growlight hortisolis on the morphological, anatomical and physiological responses of manila grass (Zoysia matrella) from Boyolali. The study was conducted on Z. matrella with LED growlight hortisolis exposure treatment in the Grow Room and without LED growlight hortisolis (control) in the Green House yard of the Department of Biology with a size of 30x100 cm as many as 3 repetitions for each treatment. The parameters measured include morphological data including shoot length, plant height, number of leaves, and productivity. While anatomical data includes stomata density, stomata percentage, tissue structure. Then the physiological data consists of chlorophyll levels and wear levels. The research data were analyzed using the Independent T-test and non-parametric Mann-Whitney. The results obtained showed significant differences in productivity parameters, stomata percentage, root tissue structure, and wear levels. Productivity parameters are shown through wet weight and dry weight where the hortisol treatment has a higher weight of 400,15 grams of wet weight and 194,22 grams of dry weight. Furthermore, the percentage parameter of stomata opening in the hortisol treatment was higher by 66%. In the root tissue structure, the hortisol treatment was better than the control which was represented by a thin endodermis of 0,07 mm and a thick cortex of 0,64 mm. Based on the wear level, it showed higher hortisol as evidenced by the plant density value of 0,32 individuals/cm2. On the other hand, the parameters of shoot length, plant height, number of leaves, stomata density, and leaf tissue structure obtained results that were not significantly different.
