Abstract

The condition of Tlogoagung Village, Lamongan Regency, has recently experienced water shortages, so the potential source of groundwater needs to be reviewed further. This research aims to analyze the resistivity characteristics of rock layers in Tlogoagung Village, Lamongan Regency so that the potential of groundwater in the village can be known. The method used in this research is Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) method with Schlumberger configuration. Measurement and analysis of VES data were carried out at 6 points to obtain subsurface resistivity values with supporting data in the form of elevation, geological maps, hydrogeological maps, and well depths of local residents. The results of data analysis show that the groundwater aquifer is suspected to be located in the sandy clay layer with a resistivity of 11,40 Ohm.m with a depth of 21,8 m to 62,8 m at VES 4 measurement point and there is also a VES 5 measurement point located at a depth of 23 m to 42,3 m with a resistivity of 7,24 Ohm.m. The alleged groundwater potential at VES 4 and VES 5 points is validated by geological maps, hydrogeological maps, and data on the depth of local residents' wells in the 35 m to 40 m range. The flow pattern in Tlogoagung Village originates from the southwest and dominantly heads north. When correlated with the results of geolectrical measurements, the direction of groundwater flow movement matches the interpretation results based on resistivity values, that the groundwater potential is in the north.
