Abstract
Cases of technology-based fraud by sending files in the form of applications (.apk) to cell phone users are often used to carry out data theft by inserting malware into applications. Static analysis is one way to detect malware and investigate program code. Reverse engineering is needed to analyze application program code that is suspected of being infected with malware. Meanwhile, dynamic analysis is used to determine the working patterns of malware by interacting between users and applications.
In other studies that discuss malware analysis, they do not create code for monitoring malware activities. This research only analyzed the program code contained in the malware application. There are even studies that only classify malware types. Not many studies have monitored malware activity on user privacy.
This research proposes static and dynamic analysis methods by creating program code using Frida to monitor malware activity on access to cell phone user privacy.
