Abstract

Cherax quadricarinatus merupakan lobster air tawar yang tergolong dalam komoditas unggul dengan fase pertumbuhan 8-12 bulan yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan. Faktor lingkungan yang memengaruhi laju pertumbuhan antaranya ketersediaan pakan, kualitas air, dan cahaya. Cahaya merupakan gabungan dari beberapa komponen yaitu intensitas, spektrum, dan fotoperiode. Pada penelitian ini digunakan cahaya lampu LED dengan intensitas 1500lx, spektrum warna merah, biru, hortisolis, dan putih, serta fotoperiode 12L:12D, yang dipaparkan pada juvenil lobster air tawar berat awal 1 gram dan 2 gram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan spektrum cahaya yang berbeda terhadap laju pertumbuhan, sintasan, dan morfologi juvenil lobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus). Hasil data yang didapat kemudian diuji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro Wilk. Setelah data terdistribusi normal dilanjutkan menuju uji ANOVA one-way post-hoc Tukey test untuk mengetahui signifikasi antar perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan lampu dengan berbagai spektrum warna memiliki pengaruh terhadap sintasan dengan kisaran nilai 80-100% (tergolong baik) namun lampu biru cenderung menurunkan nilai sintasan. Laju pertumbuhan terbaik pada perlakuan berat awal 2 gram dengan lampu putih (0.111 gram/hari) dengan panjang tubuh 6.008 cm yang memiliki perbedaan signifikan (p<0.05) dan paling rendah lampu biru (0.050 gram/hari) dengan panjang tubuh 4.702 cm tanpa perbedaan signifikan (p>0.05). Lampu LED memberikan pengaruh terhadap persentase dimorfik (kecacatan), dengan nilai dimorfik paling rendah adalah perlakuan lampu putih dan nilai dimorfik yang tertinggi adalah perlakuan lampu biru. Secara keseluruhan lampu LED warna putih memberikan hasil yang terbaik dan direkomendasikan untuk budidaya lobster air tawar.

Cherax quadricarinatus is a crayfish classified as a superior commodity with a growth phase of 8-12 months which is influenced by environmental factors. Environmental factors that affect growth rate include food availability, water quality, and light. Light is a combination of several components, namely intensity, spectrum, and photoperiod. In this study, LED light was used with an intensity of 1500lx, a spectrum of red, blue, hortisolis, and white colours, and a photoperiod of 12L:12D, which was exposed to juvenile crayfish with an initial weight of 1 gram and 2 grams. This study aims to determine the effect of exposure to different light spectra on growth rate, survival, and morphology of juvenile crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus). The results of the data obtained were then tested for normality using Shapiro Wilk. After the data is normally distributed, it continues to the ANOVA one-way post-hoc Tukey test to determine the significance between treatments. The results showed that lamp treatment with various colour spectra had an influence on the survival rate with a range of 80-100% (classified as good) but blue light tended to reduce the survival rate. The best growth rate in the treatment of initial weight of 2 grams with white light (0.111 grams/day) with a body length of 6.008 cm which has a significant difference (p <0.05) and the lowest blue light (0.050 grams/day) with a body length of 4.702 cm without significant difference (p>0.05). LED lights have an effect on the percentage of dimorphic (defects), with the lowest dimorphic value being the white light treatment and the highest dimorphic value being the blue light treatment. Overall, white LED lights give the best results and are recommended for crayfish aquaculture.
