Abstract

Hasil menunjukkan frekuensi dominan menurun seiring peningkatan Two-Way Travel Time (TWT).

Indonesia faces significant challenges in the oil industry with continuously declining production each year. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) is a potential solution to boost oil production, especially in mature fields. The vibroseismic EOR method, using seismic waves to mobilize reservoir rock particles, is promising for enhancing oil mobility. This study analyses dominant frequency and quality factor (Q) estimation using the Centroid Frequency-Shift (CFS) method in the "SKYE" field. Frequency decay was approached using three models: linear, exponential, and logarithmic. Results show that dominant frequency decreases with increasing Two-Way Travel Time (TWT). The logarithmic model shows greater variation but aligns most closely with seismic wave propagation modeling results, while the linear and exponential models show stability and consistent decay. Q estimation using the CFS method reveals lower Q values in deeper layers, indicating faster seismic energy attenuation. Seismic wave propagation modeling validates the Q estimation results, showing consistent frequency decay with the frequency decay approach, especially with the logarithmic model. This research provides a scientific basis for optimizing vibration frequency in the vibroseismic EOR process, enhancing oil recovery effectiveness in the "SKYE" field.
