Abstract

Alat dehidrator susu memiliki fungsi untuk mengurangi kadar air pada susu untuk menghasilkan susu bubuk yang tahan lama. Perencanaan alat ini didasarkan dari referensi alat lain yang berkapasitas 50 liter, sehingga penulis melakukan perencanaan dan perhitungan biaya produksi alat yang lebih ekonomis dengan menurunkan kapasitas tabung alat menjadi 10 liter. Alat ini memiliki prinsip pemanasan dengan double jacket dan sistem pengeringan spin drum dryer. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk perencanaan alat dengan kapasitas 10 liter, rencana proses manufaktur, perhitungan komponen elemen mesin dan elektronika, serta akumulasi semua biaya material dan aspek ekonomi yang dibutuhkan, dengan meminimalisir harga untuk meningkatkan daya saing alat dengan produk lain yang serupa. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwasanya dari perencanaan alat ini dibutuhkan perlakuan manufaktur seperti welding, shearing, bending, drilling, turning. Untuk elemen mesin penggerak yang dibutuhkan berupa motor listrik, gearbox, pulley, shaft, dan v-belt. Komponen instrumentasi yang digunakan berupa thermostat, thermocouple, elemen pemanas kumparan. Rencana manufaktur dalam alat ini dibagi menjadi 8 komponen utama yaitu kerangka dan penutup, tabung double jacket dan penutup, poros pengaduk dan pengaduk, pipa blower dan blower. Total biaya produksi yang dibutuhkan sebesar Rp12.637.176, serta waktu pengerjaan diperkirakan membutuhkan 15 hari. Rekomendasi penelitian kedepannya adalah proses simulasi kekuatan material serta aliran fluida pada tabung, dan rancang bangun alat.

The milk dehydrator tool has a function to reduce the water content in milk to produce long-lasting powdered milk. The planning of this tool is based on references to other tools with a capacity of 50 liters, so the author planned and calculated the production costs of a more economical tool by reducing the capacity of the tool tube to 10 liters. This tool has a heating principle, double jacket, and spin drum dryer drying system. The purpose of this study is to plan a tool with a capacity of 10 liters, a manufacturing process plan, calculation of machine and electronic element components, and accumulation of all material costs and economic aspects needed by minimizing prices to increase the competitiveness of the tool with other similar products. The results obtained showed that the planning of this tool requires manufacturing treatments such as welding, shearing, bending, drilling, and turning for the driving machine elements needed in the form of an electric motor, gearbox, pulley, shaft, and v-belt. The instrumentation components used are thermostats, thermocouples, and coil heating elements. The manufacturing plant for this tool is divided into eight main components: the frame and cover, double jacket tube and cover, stirrer and stirrer shaft, blower pipe, and blower. The total production cost required is Rp12.637.176, and the estimated processing time is 15 days. Recommendations for future research are the simulation process of material strength and fluid flow in the tube, as well as the design of the tool.
