Abstract

Analisis daerah imbuhan berdaasrkan topografi menunjukkan terdapat dua zona imbuhan air tanah: imbuhan akuifer bebas seluas 875.282.424,238 m² dan imbuhan akuifer semi tertekan seluas 906.315.725,6 m².

Probolinggo Regency has abundant groundwater, as evidenced by the numerous springs and artesian wells in various locations. This research aims to determine the characteristics of the aquifer, including thickness, depth, and volume of the aquifer. Additionally, an analysis of groundwater characteristics such as groundwater reserve volume, groundwater recharge area, and groundwater facies based on hydrochemical data is conducted. The data used includes 66 VES points, one borehole logging data, digital elevation model (DEM) data, and major element data.Based on 3D modeling and mapping, three layers were found: the unconfined aquifer, aquitard, and confined aquifer. The unconfined aquifer has a thickness and depth of 1-150 m with a volume of 33,664,885,229 m³. The aquitard layer has a thickness of 1-63 m, depth of 1-150 m, and a volume of 8,799,570,600.8 m³. The confined aquifer layer has a thickness of 1-130 m, depth of 1.6-145 m, and a volume of 44,381,908,485.8 m³. The groundwater reserve in the aquifer is 17,595,655,931.17 m³. Analysis of the recharge area based on topography shows two groundwater recharge zones: unconfined aquifer recharge area covering 875,282,424.238 m² and semi-confined aquifer recharge area covering 906,315,725.6 m². Hydrochemical analysis using the Piper trilinear diagram shows a groundwater facies with a type of magnesium bicarbonate means that the groundwater is dominated by bicarbonate anions influenced by the presence of carbonate rocks, such as coral limestone, and magnesium cations influenced by the presence of basaltic igneous rocks like andesite.
