Abstract

Diperlukan karakterisasi persebaran reservoir yang akurat agar dapat diidentifikasi zona yang prospektif dan produktif. Persebaran reservoir batupasir pada lapangan “N” diteliti dengan menggunakan metode seismik inversi impedansi akustik yang diketahui unggul dalam menggambarkan sifat fisis bawah permukaan dibandingkan dengan seismik konvensional. Digunakan juga metode geostatistik yang diintegrasikan dengan hasil inversi impedansi akustik untuk dapat mengatasi permasalahan persebaran reservoir. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis properti reservoir yang sensitif dengan impedansi akustik serta mengetahui metode inversi impedansi akustik terbaik, yang selanjutnya digunakan dalam pengidentifikasian persebaran properti reservoir dengan metode geostatistik pada Lapangan “N”. Pada penelitian ini, digunakan 3 data sumur dan data seismik 3D Post Stack Time Migration. Analisis awal dilakukan dengan menganalisis properti reservoir yang berhubungan baik dengan impedansi akustik dan didapatkan properti yakni porositas, volume shale, saturasi air, dan gamma ray. Lalu, didapatkan bahwa metode inversi Model Based terbukti sebagai metode terbaik untuk analisis persebaran batupsir, dengan nilai korelasi tertinggi dan error terendah jika dibandingkan dengan metode Bandlimited dan Sparse-spike. Integrasi metode impedansi akustik dan geostatistik menunjukkan variasi properti sesuai dengan kedalaman dan kondisi lapisan geologi, dimana lapisan T090 Top dan T088/86 Top menunjukkan sifat reservoir yang baik dengan porositas tinggi serta volume shale dan saturasi air yang relatif rendah, namun lapisan T084 Base memiliki kualitas reservoir yang lebih rendah dengan porositas yang lebih kecil dan volume shale serta saturasi air yang lebih tinggi.

Accurate characterization of reservoir distribution is required in order to identify prospective and productive zones. The distribution of sandstone reservoirs in the "N" field was studied using the acoustic impedance inversion seismic method which is known to be superior in describing subsurface physical properties compared to conventional seismic. A geostatistical method integrated with the acoustic impedance inversion results was also used to address reservoir distribution issues. The research was conducted with the aim of analyzing sensitive reservoir properties with acoustic impedance and knowing the best acoustic impedance inversion method, which was then used in identifying the distribution of reservoir properties with the geostatistical method in Field "N". In this study, 3 well data and Post Stack Time Migration 3D seismic data were used. Initial analysis was carried out by analyzing reservoir properties that are well related to acoustic impedance and obtained properties namely porosity, shale volume, water saturation, and gamma ray. Then, it was found that the Model Based inversion method proved to be the best method for sandstone distribution analysis, with the highest correlation value and lowest error when compared to the Bandlimited and Sparse-spike methods. The integration of acoustic impedance and geostatistical methods shows property variations according to depth and geologic layer conditions, where the T090 Top and T088/86 Top layers show good reservoir properties with high porosity and relatively low shale volume and water saturation, but the T084 Base layer has lower reservoir quality with smaller porosity and higher shale volume and water saturation.
