Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai identifikasi sebaran batubara di area “X”, Lapangan Kuala Kurun, Kalimantan Tengah menggunakan data gayaberat satelit GGMplus dan data GPR. Dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi sebaran batubara sebagai referensi eksplorasi awal sebelum dilakukan eksploitasi lebih lanjut di Area “X” Lapangan Kuala Kurun. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Oasis Montaj sehingga didapatkan model penampang dengan metode forward modeling. Model ini juga disertai data pendukung seperti data metode GPR dan data bor lapangan. Densitas lapisan struktur ditentukan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata, termasuk top soil (1,3 g/cm³), batupasir (2,35 g/cm³), mudstone (2,3 g/cm³), andesit (2,6 g/cm³), dan batubara (1,4 g/cm³). Analisis model gayaberat lintasan 6 mengidentifikasi lapisan batubara A pada kedalaman 38 meter dengan ketebalan 3 meter dan lapisan batubara B pada kedalaman 41 meter dengan tebal 5 meter, dengan nilai error modeling 0,742%. Forward modeling gayaberat lintasan 11 menunjukkan empat seam batubara (C, D, E, dan F) dengan kedalaman dan ketebalan bervariasi, serta nilai error 0,679%. Model GPR lintasan 11 menunjukkan kemenerusan lapisan D sepanjang 130 meter dan lapisan C sepanjang 8 meter.

Research has been conducted on the identification of coal distribution in area "X", Kuala Kurun Field, Central Kalimantan, using satellite gravity data from GGMplus and GPR data. The aim of this research is to identify the distribution of coal as a reference for initial exploration before further exploitation in area "X" of Kuala Kurun Field. Data processing was performed using Oasis Montaj software, resulting in cross-sectional models through forward modeling. This model is also supported by additional data such as GPR method data and field borehole data. The density of the structural layers was determined based on average values, including topsoil (1.3 g/cm³), sandstone (2.35 g/cm³), mudstone (2.3 g/cm³), andesite (2.6 g/cm³), and coal (1.4 g/cm³). Gravity model analysis of line 6 identified coal seam A at a depth of 38 meters with a thickness of 3 meters and coal seam B at a depth of 41 meters with a thickness of 5 meters, with a modeling error of 0.742%. Forward modeling of gravity on line 11 indicated four coal seams (C, D, E, and F) with varying depths and thicknesses, and an error value of 0.679%. The GPR model of line 11 showed the continuity of layer D over 130 meters and layer C over 8 meters.
