Abstract

Enhancing structural efficiency in the maritime industry has been a primary focus in addressing resilience and safety challenges. This research explores local vibration analysis
and the lightweight design of deck panels within ccommodation structures. Local vibration analysis methods will be applied to understand the dynamic response of deck
panels to environmental loads and forces. Subsequently, a lightweight design approach will be implemented to optimize the geometry of deck panels, considering structural
requirements and vibration performance. This study aims to enhance understanding of local vibration characteristics on deck panels and to develop efficient design solutions for
reducing structural weight without compromising structural reliability. The outcomes of this research are expected to contribute to enhancing structural construction efficiency in the maritime industry. Practical implications of this research include the development of design guidelines that can be utilized by maritime engineers to optimize the performance of deck panels in terms of strength, resilience, and weight efficiency.
