Abstract
Salah satu perusahaan pengolahan pupuk di Indonesia yaitu PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang mengalami permasalahan sistem kelistrikan pada salah satu pabriknya. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh adanya hubung singkat pada salah satu bus di pabrik Pusri 4 dan disinyalir adanya miskoordinasi antar rele pengaman. Miskoordinasi rele pengaman menyebabkan circuit breaker pada generator open karena adanya arus hubung singkat kiriman. Saat circuit breaker generator open, maka terjadi ayunan daya pada pembebanan. Disinyalir generator hanya diatur default dan tidak dipersiapkan untuk mengatasi gangguan tersebut. Dari permasalahan tersebut menyebabkan adanya gangguan secara kompleks hingga menyebabkan blackout pada pabrik lama Pusri. Karena generator hanya diatur default, maka ketika ada kasus blackout, generator akan off secara tiba-tiba. Generator yang sering off secara tiba-tiba karena adanya gangguan dapat menyebabkan berkurangnya kapabilitas generator dalam membangkitkan daya serta berdampak pada lifetime dari generator tersebut. Blackout ini menyebabkan kerugian yang sangat besar untuk PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem proteksi internal generator. Tugas akhir ini berfokus pada beberapa rele internal generator sebagai sistem proteksinya. Rele tersebut antara lain adalah rele sinkronisasi, rele hilang eksitasi, rele arus lebih urutan negatif, rele arus lebih dengan kendali tegangan, rele frekuensi, dan rele diferensial. Studi evaluasi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan software ETAP 12.6 agar mendapatkan hasil simulasi yang sesuai dengan kejadian di lapangan. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang serta berbagai instansi guna melindungi generator ketika terjadi gangguan serupa.

One of the fertilizer processing companies in Indonesia, namely PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang experienced electrical system problems at one of its factories. The problem was caused by a short circuit on one of the buses at the Pusri 4 factory, and it was alleged that there was a miscoordination between the safety relays. Miscoordination of the safety relay causes the circuit breaker on the generator to open due to a short-circuit current sent. When the circuit breaker generator is open, there is a power swing in the load. The generator is only set by default and is not prepared to deal with these disturbances. These problems caused complex disturbances to cause blackouts at Pusri's old factory. Because the generator is only set by default, when there is a blackout case, the generator will suddenly turn off. Generators that often turn off suddenly due to disturbances can cause a reduction in the generator's capability to generate power and have an impact on the lifetime of the generator. This blackout caused huge losses for PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, therefore it is necessary to evaluate the generator's internal protection system. This final project focuses on several internal generator relays as a protection system. These relays include synchronization relays, loss-of-excitation relays, negative sequence overcurrent relays, voltage-controlled overcurrent relays, frequency relays, and differential relays. This evaluation study was conducted using the ETAP 12.6 software to obtain simulation results that match the events in the field. The results of this final project can be a recommendation for PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang and various agencies to protect the generator when a similar disturbance occurs.
