Abstract

Pusat Penelitian Infrastuktur Lingkungan Berkelanjutan merupakan sebuah organisasi di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember yang berfungsi untuk mengembangkan kegiatan penelitian, kerjasama, dan pelayanan IPTEKS di bidang sarana dan prasarana infrastruktur yang berwawasan lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Salah satu penelitian yang dilakukan yakni mengintegrasikan aplikasi mobile yang inovatif untuk Solid Waste State Management (Apps4Swam) dengan ilmu-ilmu sosial untuk memahami dan meningkatkan efisiensi daur ulang limbah rumah tangga. Apps4Swam menghubungkan semua stakeholder penting, termasuk nasabah, bank sampah, badan usaha, industri, dan pemerintah, sehingga menciptakan ekosistem daur ulang yang kohesif dan efisien. Produk yang kami kerjakan saat Kerja Praktik adalah aplikasi Apps4Swam tersebut, yang berfungsi sebagai jembatan antara masyarakat dan bank sampah. Pengerjaan kami meliputi pengembangan fitur-fitur yang ada, perbaikan bug, serta migrasi backend dari IDCloudhost ke Virtual Private Server Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan framework React Native pada bagian frontend. Pengerjaan frontend meliputi pembuatan grafik transaksi bulanan untuk bank sampah, penambahan bunga transaksi untuk bank sampah, penambahan fitur untuk menambahkan nasabah, serta perbaikan bug yang membuat penyimpanan transaksi lebih akurat. Pada sisi backend, digunakan framework Express.js dengan database MongoDB. Kami menyesuaikan perubahan backend dengan perubahan pada frontend. Selain itu, kami juga diminta untuk melakukan migrasi backend dan database dari IDCloudhost ke Virtual Private Server ITS menggunakan berbagai tools seperti Docker dan Nginx.

The Center for Sustainable Environmental Infrastructure Research is an organization at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology that functions to develop research activities, collaboration, and IPTEKS services in the field of environmentally friendly and sustainable infrastructure facilities and infrastructure. One of the studies conducted is integrating an innovative mobile application for Solid Waste State Management (Apps4Swam) with social sciences to understand and improve the efficiency of household waste recycling. Apps4Swam connects all important stakeholders, including customers, waste banks, business entities, industry, and government, thus creating a cohesive and efficient recycling ecosystem. The product we worked on during the Internship was the Apps4Swam application, which functions as a bridge between the community and the waste bank. Our work includes developing existing features, fixing bugs, and migrating the backend from IDCloudhost to the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Virtual Private Server. This application was created using the React Native framework on the frontend. Frontend work includes creating monthly transaction graphs for waste banks, adding transaction interest for waste banks, adding features to add customers, and fixing bugs that make transaction storage more accurate. On the backend side, the Express.js framework is used with the MongoDB database. We adjust backend changes to changes in the frontend. In addition, we were also asked to migrate the backend and database from IDCloudhost to the ITS Virtual Private Server using various tools such as Docker and Nginx.
