Abstract

This study aims to determine the NPK content, C/N ratio and determine the composition of the mixture of elephant feces and litter that is right for obtaining vermicompost. The study was conducted by giving five treatments to the mixture of elephant feces and litter that had been stored for 14 days. PI (4:0) only contains elephant feces, P2 (3:I) contains feces and litter, P3 (2:2) contains feces and litter, P4 (I:3) contains feces and litter, P5 (0:4) contains only feces. All treatments were added with earthworms and stored for 14 days in a room that was not exposed to direct sunlight and maintained humidity of 50-60% by spraying periodically. The results showed that the N content did not meet the SNI standard because the value was below 0.4%. The P and K content have met the SNI standard, namely P (0, I%) and K (O,ZO/o). Meanwhile, in the C/N ratio, only PI has a C/N ratio above 20, where the SNI for C/N is 10-20
