Abstract

Construction services are a service that is prevalent in Indonesia. Construction service providers or what we commonly refer to as contractors, carry out activities that have various kinds of risks in the implementation of their services. Due to the many risks that can occur during implementation, workers who work in this sector are very prone to work accidents. Work accident itself is an event that can cause disability and even death to workers. The object studied in this research is the Lotte Chemical Indonesia Jetty construction project. This project is located on Rawa Arum, Cilegon. The purpose of this to analyse possible hazards and risks of work accidents on Lotte Chemical Indonesia Construction Project, analyse possible extreme category risks on Lotte Chemical Indonesia Construction Project, analyse what efforts can be made to prevent and control the risk that categorized as extremes in Lotte Chemical Indonesia Construction Project. The results of the risk analysis found three risks categorized as extreme risks. Extreme risks are found in variable b4 (Pieces of piles break free from ties and fall on workers), za9 (Workers are hit by materials) and zc20 (Heavy equipment hits workers). Here's a concise summary: Pile pieces breaking free due to unqualified heavy equipment, exceeding weight limits, human error, or extreme weather can cause workers to suffer minor injuries or serious injury and death. Workers being crushed by materials can occur due to unqualified heavy equipment, exceeding weight limits, human error, or extreme weather, resulting in minor injuries or serious injury and death. Workers being crushed by materials can result from unqualified heavy equipment, human error, or extreme weather. The impact includes minor injuries, serious injuries, or fatalities among workers. Bowtie analysis not only analyses the causes and impacts of these risks. But it also analyses how to control each cause and control each impact. There are also additional escalation factors and controls.
