Abstract
Direktorat Riset dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (DRPM) ITS bertanggung jawab atas dua dari tiga dharma perguruan tinggi, yaitu Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Selama Kerja Praktik, kami mengembangkan aplikasi SIDATA, sebuah sistem pendataan pendaftaran program penelitian yang digunakan oleh DRPM ITS. Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur utama seperti Pendaftaran Beasiswa Pascasarjana untuk Peneliti (BPUP), Pendaftaran Penyelenggaraan Asisten Peneliti (PAP), Kerjasama Pendampingan Publikasi Bereputasi Internasional (KPPBI), dan Bantuan Penyelenggaraan Seminar Internasional Terindeks (BPSIT). Untuk itu, kami mengembangkan sistem yang telah ada menggunakan metode User-Centered Design (UCD). Tahapan pengerjaan meliputi inisiasi proyek dengan identifikasi kebutuhan dan penyusunan backlog produk, sprint planning untuk membagi backlog berdasarkan prioritas fitur, serta pengembangan dan evaluasi setiap sprint bersama pengguna untuk memastikan sistem sesuai kebutuhan. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan revisi aplikasi SIDATA dilakukan secara fleksibel, iteratif, dan terstruktur.

The Directorate of Research and Community Service (DRPM) ITS is responsible for two of the three pillars of higher education, namely Research and Community Service. During our internship, we developed the SIDATA application, a data management system for research program registration used by DRPM ITS. This application includes key features such as Registration for Postgraduate Scholarships for Researchers (BPUP), Registration for Research Assistant Programs (PAP), Collaboration on International Reputable Publication Assistance (KPPBI), and Assistance for Indexed International Seminar Organization (BPSIT). To achieve this, we enhanced the existing system using the User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology. The development stages included project initiation by identifying requirements and compiling the product backlog, sprint planning to prioritize and divide the backlog into features, and iterative development and evaluation with users in each sprint to ensure the system meets their needs. This approach allows the SIDATA application to be revised flexibly, iteratively, and systematically.
