Abstract
Industri menjadi salah satu kontributor utama emisi karbon yang memicu efek rumah kaca dan pemanasan global. PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), sebagai perusahaan petrokimia, berkomitmen menurunkan emisi karbon melalui peningkatan efisiensi energi dan adopsi teknologi rendah emisi, meskipun emisi karbon yang dihasilkan masih tinggi dan mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi strategi penurunan emisi karbon PT PIM, serta menentukan prioritas strategi optimal. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Responden adalah pegawai PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda dengan metode penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel sebanyak 11 orang. Data penelitian meliputi Data Primer yang didapatkan dari observasi, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner penelitian, sedangkan data sekunder didapatkan dari literatur pendukung. Teknik analisis data melalui metode analisis SWOT dan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) serta post risk based strategy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 12 alternatif strategi yang dirumuskan dan dipilih 2 alternatif strategi terbaik yang menjadi prioritas dengan post risk strategy internal dengan mitigasi pertimbangan finansial, antara lain“ peningkatan program marketing relationship yang intensif, serta pemahaman karyawan mengenai pentingnya praktik-praktik berkelanjutan untuk mencapai target penurunan emisi (CBA 4,54);Penggantian sebagian peralatan pabrik sesuai kebijakan perusahaan untuk menurunkan emisi karbon dalam memenuhi ketahanan pangan dan energi Nasional (CBA 2,24).”

The industrial sector is a major contributor to carbon emissions, driving the greenhouse effect and global warming. PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), as a petrochemical company, is committed to reducing carbon emissions through enhanced energy efficiency and low-emission technology adoption, although its carbon emissions remain high and have significantly increased. This study aims to identify internal and external factors influencing PT PIM's carbon emission reduction strategy and to determine the optimal priority strategy. The research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The respondents are employees of PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda, selected using the purposive sampling technique, resulting in a sample size of 11 people. The research data includes primary data obtained from observations, interviews, and questionnaires, while secondary data is gathered from supporting literature. Data analysis techniques include SWOT analysis, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and post-risk-based strategy. The research results identified 12 alternative strategies, with two prioritized alternatives selected as the best options based on a post-risk internal strategy analysis, incorporating financial mitigation considerations. These prioritized strategies are: "enhancing an intensive marketing relationship program and increasing employees' understanding of the importance of sustainable practices to achieve emission reduction targets (CBA 4.54); Replacing part of the factory equipment in accordance with company policies to reduce carbon emissions while contributing to national food and energy security (CBA 2.24)."
