Abstract
Jembatan Batanghari merupakan bagian dari Jalan Tol Ruas Jambi-Rengat di STA 15+750 dengan total panjang jembatan yaitu 1278,6 m. Jembatan Batanghari memiliki total tinggi timbunan oprit ±14,7 m. Stratigrafi tanah pada abutmen 1 dan 2 memiliki tanah dasar berupa lempung dengan stratigrafi dominan pasir. Pemilihan bahan timbunan yang sesuai dapat mempengaruhi kualitas, biaya, serta ketahanan jalan tol. Pada kondisi tertentu, penggunaan material alternatif yang inovatif dan efisien menjadi sangat penting. Maka dalam penelitian ini akan direncanakan alternatif penggunaan material timbunan mortar busa, dengan membandingkan penggunaan mortar busa dan timbunan biasa serta struktur slab-on-pile. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi variasi penggunaan material ringan mortar busa dan tanah timbunan biasa pada oprit jembatan serta membandingkannya dengan struktur slab-on-pile dari segi stabilitas, efisiensi biaya, dan performa teknis. Metode dalam penelitian ini bersifat komparatif, yaitu penelitian dengan membandingkan dua atau lebih analisis dari data primer dan sekunder serta variabel yang diteliti kemudian dihitung dan dianalisis untuk diambil kesimpulan. Data-data yang digunakan mencakup data tanah dasar dan timbunan yang diambil dari lokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan material timbunan mortar busa yang memiliki berat volume lebih kecil akan mengurangi pemampatan tanah dibandingkan dengan material timbunan tanah, Selain itu penggunaan material timbunan mortar busa juga dapat mengurangi kebutuhan perkuatan stabilitas timbunan. Berdasarkan perhitungan biaya konstruksi, alternatif perencanaan yang paling efektif dan efisien untuk lokasi abutmen 1 adalah penggunaan Slab-on-Pile dengan total biaya Rp 28.278.883.141, sementara pada abutmen 2 adalah penggunaan timbunan biasa 100% dengan total biaya Rp 22.403.576.498. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa material timbunan mortar busa dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif pengganti material timbunan tanah sehingga memberikan tambahan solusi yang lebih ekonomis dalam desain dan pelaksanaan konstruksi khususnya pada lokasi jembatan Batanghari pada Jalan Tol Ruas Jambi-Rengat.

Batanghari Bridge is part of the Jambi-Rengat Toll Road located at STA 15+750 with a total bridge length of 1,278.6 meters. Batanghari Bridge has a total embankment height at the approaches ±14.7 meters.. The soil stratigraphy at abutment 1 and 2 consists of clay as the top soil, with a dominant stratigraphy of sand. The selection of embankment materials can significantly impacts the quality, cost, and durability of toll roads. making innovative alternatives crucial in specific conditions. Therefore, this study aims to design an alternative utilizing mortar foam material by conducting a comparative analysis between the application of mortar foam, ordinary embankment, and slab-on-pile structures. The objective of this study is to evaluate the variations in the use of lightweight mortar foam and ordinary embankment soil material on bridge approach embankments and to compare them with slab-on-pile structures in terms of stability, cost efficiency, and technical performance. The method used in this study is comparative, involving the comparison of two or more analyses based on primary and secondary data as well as the variables under investigation, which are then calculated and analyzed to draw conclusions. The data utilized includes subgrade and embankment material data collected from the research site. This study demonstrates that using mortar foam as an embankment material, which has a lower unit weight, reduces soil compression compared to ordinary embankment soil material. Additionally, the use of mortar foam as an embankment material can also decrease the need for stability reinforcement. Based on construction cost calculations, the most effective and efficient embankment stability reinforcement method for Abutment 1 is the use of a Slab-on-Pile, with a total cost of Rp. 28.278.883.141. Meanwhile, for Abutment 2, the use of 100% ordinary embankment soil material is the most cost-efficient, with a total cost of Rp. 22,403,576,498. This study proves that mortar foam embankment material can serve as an alternative to ordinary embankment soil material, providing a more economical solution in the design and construction process, particularly for the Batanghari Bridge location on the Jambi-Rengat Toll Road.
