Abstract

Hasil pertanian dengan penghasilan yang cukup tinggi adalah petani tembakau. Dengan penghasilan tersebut, didirikan berbagai perusahaan di sektor industri penjualan rokok. Hal ini mampu meningkatkan pendapatan Negara dan membantu petani tembakau dalam perekonomian. Sektor industri di bidang tersebut memiliki konsumen dengan jumlah yang besar baik di dalam negeri maupun di luar negeri. Namun, konsumsi rokok dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kesehatan karena terdapat senyawa karsinogenik dan logam berat yang dimiliki oleh rokok. Produk rokok berbentuk silinder yang di dalamnya berisi tembakau dan filter rokok. Filter rokok digunakan untuk menyaring zat-zat berbahaya yang masuk ke dalam tubuh melalui hisapan. Pembuatan filter rokok dapat menggunakan metode elektrospinning. Pada penelitian kali membuat filter rokok berbasis tongkol jagung dan diekstraksi menjadi Nano Cellulose Oligosaccharides. Perbandingan rasio antara Cellulose Oligosaccharides : nano COS Amide/Amine yaitu CCCr31, CCSh31, CCCr11, CCSh11, CCCr13, dan CCSh13. Dilanjutkan dengan penambahan PLA sebagai matriks dengan komposisi 10wt% dan 5% reinforcesnya menggunakan variasi komposisi (10%PLA+5%(Cellulose Oligosaccharides + Chitosan Oligosaccharides Amide) dan (10%PLA+5%( Cellulose Oligosaccharides + Chitosan Oligosaccharides Amine). Proses pencampuran semua bahan telah dilakukan, dilanjutkan dengan proses fabrikasi filter rokok menggunakan elektrospinning. Setelah itu, hasil filter rokok dilakukan beberapa pengujian seperti GCMS, FTIR, dan TGA/DSC. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu banyaknya senyawa berbahaya yang teradsorp oleh filter rokok ramah lingkungan dengan variasi CCSh31 sebanyak 155 senyawa dan CCSh11 sebanyak 173 senyawa.

The agricultural product with a relatively high income is tobacco farming. With this income, various companies in the cigarette sales industry have been established. This has helped increase the country's revenue and support tobacco farmers in the economy. The industrial sector in this field has a large number of consumers both domestically and internationally. However, cigarette consumption can have negative health impacts due to the carcinogenic compounds and heavy metals present in cigarettes. Cigarette products are cylindrical in shape, containing tobacco and a cigarette filter. The cigarette filter is used to filter out harmful substances that enter the body through inhalation. The manufacturing of cigarette filters can utilize the electrospinning method. In this research, cigarette filters were made based on corn and extracted into Cellulose Oligosaccharides. The ratio comparison between Nano Cellulose Oligosaccharides: nano COS Amide/Amine were CCCr31, CCSh31, CCCr11, CCSh11, CCCr13, and CCSh13. This was followed by the addition of PLA as a matrix with a composition of 10wt% and 5% reinforcement using composition variations (10%PLA+5%(Cellulose Oligosaccharides + Chitosan Oligosaccharides Amide) and (10%PLA+5%(Cellulose Oligosaccharides + Chitosan Oligosaccharides Amine). The mixing of all materials was completed, followed by the fabrication of cigarette filters using electrospinning. Afterward, the filter was subjected to several tests such as GCMS, FTIR, and TGA/DSC. The results of this study showed that a significant number of harmful compounds were adsorbed by the environmentally friendly cigarette filter, with the CCSh31 variation adsorbing 155 compounds and the CCSh11 variation adsorbing 173 compounds.
