Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja proses bisnis pemeliharaan di Workshop PT KPI RU VI Balongan dengan menggunakan pendekatan process mining. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi implementasi platform e-Workshop di PT KPI RU VI Balongan dilakukan dengan metode process mining (discovery, conformance, dan enhancement) untuk mengidentifikasi bottleneck dan hidden issue yang menyebakan keterlambatan penanganan downtime. Metodologi penelitian meliputi tahapan process discovery, conformance checking, dan enhancement untuk mengungkap pola aktivitas, variasi waktu siklus, serta potensi bottleneck yang memengaruhi kinerja proses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun platform e-Workshop telah diterapkan sejak Desember 2023, beberapa permasalahan seperti keterlambatan penanganan downtime masih terjadi. Dengan memanfaatkan data log kejadian dari platform e-Workshop, penelitian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi akar masalah utama pada tiap section workshop. Analisis lebih lanjut dilakukan menggunakan Value Adding Analysis dan Root Cause Analysis untuk memberikan rekomendasi strategis. Rekomendasi perbaikan mencakup optimalisasi digitalisasi proses melalui penambahan fitur e-Workshop dan implementasi Service Level Agreement (SLA) untuk meningkatkan responsivitas layanan. Rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat mempercepat waktu penanganan downtime, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional workshop, dan mendukung pencapaian target Plant Availability Factor (PAF) di RU VI Balongan. Penelitian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada pengembangan internal perusahaan tetapi juga memberikan referensi bagi pengelolaan proses pemeliharaan di industri minyak dan gas secara umum.

This study aims to evaluate the performance of maintenance business processes at the Workshop of PT KPI RU VI Balongan using a process mining approach. The primary focus is to assess the implementation of the e-Workshop platform at PT KPI RU VI Balongan through process mining methods (discovery, conformance, and enhancement) to identify bottlenecks and hidden issues causing delays in downtime handling. The research methodology includes stages of process discovery, conformance checking, and enhancement to uncover activity patterns, cycle time variations, and potential bottlenecks affecting process performance. The results of the study indicate that, despite the e-Workshop platform being implemented since December 2023, issues such as delays in downtime handling persist. By utilizing event log data from the e-Workshop platform, the study successfully identified the main root causes in each workshop section. Further analysis was conducted using Value Adding Analysis and Root Cause Analysis to provide strategic recommendations. These recommendations include optimizing process digitization by adding features to the e-Workshop platform and implementing Service Level Agreements (SLA) to improve service responsiveness. These improvements are expected to accelerate downtime handling times, enhance the operational efficiency of the workshop, and support the achievement of the Plant Availability Factor (PAF) target at RU VI Balongan. This research not only contributes to the company’s internal development but also provides a reference for managing maintenance processes in the oil and gas industry in general.
