Abstract

Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) merupakan ikan air tawar yang digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Namun, biaya pakan yang tinggi menjadi tantangan utama dalam budidaya ikan nila yang mencapai lebih dari 60% dari total biaya produksi. Dengan memanfaatkan limbah pertanian diharapkan dapat menekan biaya untuk pakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan ikan kombinasi limbah tongkol jagung dan bungkil kelapa sawit dengan penambahan bioaktivator dari bakteri asam laktat (BAL) dan eco-enzyme (EE) terhadap pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup, dan kualitas air pemeliharaan ikan nila. Dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang melibatkan 3 variasi pakan, pelet berbahan dasar limbah tongkol jagung (T3), bungkil kelapa sawit (B3), kombinasi keduanya (TB3), dan pelet komersial (kontrol). Analisis pertumbuhan berat dan panjang, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan nila yang diukur setiap tujuh hari selama 35 ha ri, sementara kualitas air dipantau secara berkala. Analisis data menggunakan program Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) melalui uji ANOVA One-Way menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan pada pertumbuhan panjang (p <0,05), tetapi tidak signifikan pada berat (p >0,05). Laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR) tertinggi dimiliki oleh perlakuan kontrol diikuti oleh perlakuan T3, B3 dan TB3. Nilai kelangsungan hidup (SR) pada perlakuan T3, B3, dan TB3 dalam kategori normal, dan perlakuan kontrol dalam kategori sebaliknya. Kualitas air tiap perlakuan selama masa pemeliharaan yang meliputi suhu, pH, dan DO berada dalam rentang layak sesuai standar SNI 2009. Pemberian pakan kombinasi limbah tongkol jagung dan bungkil kelapa sawit dengan penambahan bioaktivator BAL EE dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan nila, hal tersebut tidak lepas dari kandungan nutrisi dalam pakan seperti kadar protein, lemak, serat, air, abu, dan juga kualitas air dalam pemeliharaan ikan nila (Or eochromis niloticus).

Nila Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is a freshwater fish that is popular among the Indonesian community. However, the high feed costs present a major challenge in nila tilapia rming accounting for more than 60% of the total production costs. By utilizing agricultural waste, it is hoped that feed costs can be reduced. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination feed of corn cob waste and palm kernel meal, with the addition of bioactivators from lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and eco-enzyme (EE), on the growth, survival rate, and water quality in tilapia cultivation. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three variations of feed: feed based on corn cob waste (T3), palm kernel meal (B3), their combination (TB3), and commercial feed (control). Growth analysis weight and length, specific growth rate, and survival rate of the tilapia were measured every seven days for 35 days, while water quality was monitored periodically. Data analysis was erformed using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) software with a one-way ANOVA test, which showed a significant difference in length growth (p < 0.05) but not in weight (p > 0.05). The highest specific growth rate (SGR) was found in the control treatment, followed by T3, B3, and TB3. The survival rate (SR) for T3, B3, and TB3 treatments was in the normal category, while the control treatment was in the opposite category. The water quality for each treatment during the cultivation period, including temperature, pH, and DO, was within acceptable ranges according to the SNI 2009 standards. The provision of a combination feed of corn cob waste and palm kernel meal, with the addition of LAB and EE bioactivators, can improve the growth and survival rate of nila tilapia. This is attributed to the nutritional content in the feed, such as protein, fat, fiber, ash, and the water quality in tilapia cultivation (Oreochromis niloticus).
