Abstract
Auditorium merupakan ruangan yang dapat digunakan untuk berbagai macam acara yang memerlukan jumlah penonton yang banyak. Gedung pascasarjana ITS merupakan salah satu gedung di ITS yang memiliki fasilitas auditorium dan memiliki fungsi sebagai ruang speech yang sebagian besar ruangan tersebut digunakan untuk kegiatan seperti pidato, kuliah umum, dan konferensi. Dalam mengevaluasi ruang tersebut agar sesuai dengan ISO-3382-1, mengenai standar internasional pengukuran parameter akustik ruang, perlu dilakukan pengukuran parameter akustik kebisingan latar belakang, persebaran tingkat tekanan suara (SPL), waktu dengung (RT), clarity (C50), dan definition (D50). Evaluasi dilakukan dengan metode impulse response yang berasal dari suara letusan balon di area panggung pada ketinggian 1,5 meter dan posisi mikrofon diletakkan 1,2 meter pada titik-titik yang telah ditentukan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dalam keadaan auditorium tanpa penonton serta kondisi peralatan mekanikan dan elektrikal ruang dalam keadaan menyala. Selanjutnya dilakukan simulasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui parameter akustik pada kondisi eksisting untuk mengetahui kinerja akustik ruangan dengan sistem tata suara dan simulasi alternatif untuk melakukan perbaikan sistem tata suara.

An auditorium is a room that can be used for various events that require a large number of audiences. The ITS Postgraduate Building is one of the buildings in ITS that has an auditorium facility and functions as a speech room. Most of this room is used for activities such as speeches, public lectures, and conferences. To evaluate the room according to ISO-3382-1, regarding the international standards for measuring room acoustic parameters, it is necessary to measure acoustic parameters such as background noise, sound pressure level (SPL) distribution, reverberation time (RT), clarity (C50), and definition (D50). The evaluation was conducted using an impulse response method, originating from a balloon burst sound at a height of 1.5 meters on the stage area, with microphones placed 1.2 meters at predetermined points. Data acquisition was conducted in an auditorium with no audience and with the room's mechanical and electrical equipment turned on. The simulation performed was an acoustic parameter simulation under existing conditions to determine the acoustic performance of the room with the sound system, as well as alternative simulations to improve the sound system.
