Abstract
Industri peternakan ayam di Indonesia menghasilkan limbah padat yang dapat mencemari lingkungan. Limbah padat yang dihasilkan dari industri peternakan ayam adalah sisa pakan ayam dan kotoran ayam. Tiap ekor ayam menghasilkan 80 hingga 100 gram kotoran ayam per hari. Meningkatnya kebutuhan protein hewani mengakibatkan peningkatan timbulan limbah padat industri peternakan. Teknologi pengolahan sampah menggunakan larva BSF (Black Soldier Fly) menjadi solusi dalam mengurangi volume timbulan sampah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh komposisi limbah padat peternakan terhadap pertumbuhan larva, dan kandungan protein, lemak, karbohidrat, kadar air, abu total dari larva. Limbah padat industri peternakan yang digunakan adalah sisa pakan ayam dan kotoran ayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel komposisi substrat dan densitas larva. Densitas yang digunakan adalah 1 larva/cm2, 2 larva/cm2, dan 4 larva/cm2. Variasi rasio limbah padat yang digunakan adalah sisa pakan ayam 75% : kotoran ayam 25%, sisa pakan ayam 50% : kotoran ayam 50%, sisa pakan ayam 25% : kotoran ayam 75% dan pakan ayam (dedak) 100%, kotoran ayam 100% sebagai kontrol. Feeding rate yang digunakan adalah 125 mg/larva.2hari berat kering dengan frekuensi pemberian substrat 2 hari sekali. Dedak memiliki karakteristik kadar air sebesar 3,47%, rasio C/N 9,32, karbohidrat 14,17%, protein 29,71%, lemak 13,95%, dan kadar abu 23,66%. Sisa pakan ayam memiliki karakteristik kadar air sebesar 9,38%, rasio C/N 11,07, karbohidrat 61,85%, protein 31,8%, lemak 8,52%, dan kadar abu 2,91%. Kotoran ayam memiliki karakteristik kadar air sebesar 17,67%, rasio C/N 9,9, karbohidrat 27,66%, protein 32%, lemak 12,20%, dan kadar abu 12,59%. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan penelitian utama, variasi komposisi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap berat, panjang, waktu perkembangan larva, waste reduction index (WRI), bioconconversion rate (BCR), dan efficiency conversion digested (ECD). Densitas larva berpengaruh signifikan terhadap berat, panjang, dan waktu perkembangan larva. Penambahan kotoran ayam dapat meningkatkan kandungan protein dan lemak yang terdapat pada tubuh larva.

The chicken farming industry in Indonesia produced solid waste that can pollute the environment. Solid waste generated from the chicken farming industry is chicken feed residues and chicken manure. Each chicken produces 80 to 100 grams of chicken manure per day. The increasing demand for animal protein has led to an increase in the volume of solid waste in the farming industry. Waste processing technology using BSF (Black Soldier Fly) larvae is a solution in reducing volume of waste. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the composition of solid waste livestock on larvae growth, and the content of protein, fat, carbohydrates, moisture content, and total ash form the larva. The solid waste of the livestock industry used was chicken feed residues and chicken manure. This study used variables of larvae composition and larvae density. The densities used were 1 larvae/cm2 , 2 larvae/cm2 , and 4 larvae/cm2 . Solid waste ratio variations used were chicken feed residues 75%: chicken manure 25%, chicken feed residues 50% : chicken manure 50%, and chicken feed residues 25% : chicken manure 75% and bran 100%, chicken manure 100% as control. The feeding rate used was 125 mg/larvae.2day dry weight with frequency of substrate feeding every 2 days. Bran has a moisture content 3,47%, C/N ratio 9,32, carbohydrate 14,17%, protein 29,71%, fat 13,95%, and ash content 23,66%. From the result of the study, the variation of composition significantly influenced the weight, length, larvae development time, waste reduction index (WRI), bioconversion rate (BCR), and efficiency conversion digested (ECD). Larvae density had a significant effect on larvae weight, length, and development time. The addition of chicken manure can increase the protein and fat content of the larvae
