Abstract

Indonesia melalui Rencana Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik (RUPTL) mewajibkan peningkatan penggunaan energi terbarukan, termasuk Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) untuk mengurangi emisi karbon. Respon positif dari pelaku usaha di sektor energi mendorong munculnya startup yang berfokus menyediakan solusi tenaga listrik dari tenaga surya. Namun startup di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan yang signifikan dalam mengelola proses bisnis mereka dengan efisien dan efektif, terutama dalam melakukan penetrasi pasar dan meningkatkan penjualan disebabkan ketidakpastian kondisi pasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Five-Diamond Method untuk merancang strategi inovasi dengan menekankan eksplorasi potensi inovasi dalam penetrasi pasar. Metode dalam tahap pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan riset dengan mencari artikel ilmiah, berita, buku-buku yang relevan, serta Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Dengan FDM ditemukan tiga megatrend yang relevan dengan tujuan EMITS yaitu SDGs, climate change, dan blue economy. Sedangkan untuk tren teknologi yang relevan adalah Digitalisasi, Teknologi Energi Terbarukan dan Teknologi Penyimpanan Energi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 12 strategi yang dapat di implementasikan dalam 5 tahun kedepan.

Indonesia, through its Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL), mandates an increase in the use of renewable energy, including Solar Power Plants (PLTS), to reduce carbon emissions. Positive responses from energy sector entrepreneurs have driven the emergence of startups focused on providing solar-powered electricity solutions. However, startups in Indonesia face significant challenges in managing their business processes efficiently and effectively, particularly in penetrating the market and increasing sales due to market uncertainties. This study adopts the Five Diamond Method approach to design innovation strategies, emphasizing the exploration of innovation potential in market penetration. Data collection methods include research through scientific articles, news, relevant books, as well as Focus Group Discussions (FGD). With FDM, three megatrends were found that are relevant to the EMITS goals, namely SDGs, climate change, and blue economy. Meanwhile, the relevant technology trends are Digitalization, Renewable Energy Technology and Energy Storage Technology. This study produced 12 strategies that can be implemented in the next 5 years.
