Abstract

Perusahaan Pestisida merupakan produsen pestisida (insektisida, fungisida, herbisida) yang berlokasi di Jawa Timur dan berperan penting dalam mendukung sektor pertanian. Oleh karena itu, identifikasi dan validasi keaslian produk menjadi aspek yang sangat krusial. Hal ini tidak hanya membantu konsumen mengenali produk yang dibeli dari pengecer tetapi juga memudahkan produsen dalam melacak distribusi produknya di berbagai wilayah. Perusahaan juga berupaya memastikan produk-produknya tersebar merata hingga ke seluruh pelosok negeri untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerimaan masyarakat terhadap produk yang ditawarkan. Selain itu, hal ini juga mempercepat proses penanganan keluhan pelanggan. Tesis ini akan menjelaskan secara rinci penerapan sistem manajemen jejak produk dan validasi keaslian produk, termasuk penggunaan teknologi seperti printer QR code dan kamera inspeksi yang dipasang pada mesin produksi, serta URL QR Code pada situs web untuk mengumpulkan dan menyimpan informasi sepanjang siklus hidup produk. Pembahasan juga mencakup metode validasi keaslian produk dan bagaimana konsumen dapat dengan mudah memverifikasi keaslian produk yang mereka beli. Sistem manajemen jejak produk dan validasi keaslian produk melalui implementasi QR Code ini terbukti efektif dalam memverifikasi keaslian produk serta memfasilitasi pelacakan produk dalam rantai pasokan. Selain itu, sistem ini membantu perusahaan mengidentifikasi potensi masalah atau kekurangan dalam proses produksi, sehingga memungkinkan mereka meningkatkan kualitas produk secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, nilai dari proyek ini berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan metode evaluasi proyek berupa Net Present Value memiliki nilai Rp 1.455.237.983 dengan tingkat diskonto 15%. Proyek ini dapat dianggap layak secara finansial karena memiliki NPV positif yang cukup besar sehingga dapat menguntungkan perusahaan.

Pesticide Company is a producer of pesticides (insecticides, fungicides, herbicides) located in East Java and plays a significant role in supporting the agricultural sector. Therefore, the identification and validation of product authenticity are crucial aspects. These efforts not only assist consumers in recognizing products purchased from retailers but also help producers track their product distribution across various regions. The company also strives to ensure its products are distributed evenly throughout the country to enhance public awareness and acceptance of the offered products. Additionally, this approach accelerates the process of handling customer complaints. This thesis provides a detailed explanation of the implementation of a product traceability management system and product authenticity validation, including the use of technologies such as QR code printers and inspection cameras installed on production machines, as well as QR Code URLs on websites to collect and store information throughout the product lifecycle. The discussion also covers methods for validating product authenticity and how consumers can easily verify the authenticity of purchased products. The product traceability management system and authenticity validation using QR Code implementation have proven effective in verifying product authenticity and facilitating product tracking within the supply chain. Furthermore, the system helps the company identify potential issues or deficiencies in the production process, enabling improvements in overall product quality. Additionally, the value of this project, based on calculations using the project evaluation method of Net Present Value (NPV), is Rp 1.455.237.983, with a discount rate of 15%. The project is considered financially feasible due to its significant positive NPV, indicating profitability for the company.
