Abstract

Instalasi listrik merupakan elemen integral dalam sistem ketenagalistrikan, terdiri dari berbagai peralatan listrik yang saling terhubung dan berada dalam satu lingkup. Instalasi yang baik harus aman bagi manusia dan ramah lingkungan. Dalam konteks pembangunan gedung modern seperti Gedung Tower 3 di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), perencanaan distribusi dan instalasi listrik menjadi sangat penting. Proses ini mencakup pemilihan material sesuai standar, perencanaan sistem proteksi yang andal, serta integrasi teknologi terbaru untuk efisiensi energi dan keberlanjutan. Perencanaan distribusi dan instalasi listrik yang matang dan terintegrasi sangat penting untuk memastikan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan efisiensi operasional gedung. Distribusi listrik yang efisien mendukung berbagai aktivitas di dalam gedung, seperti kegiatan belajar-mengajar, penelitian, dan administrasi. Pengalaman menunjukkan bahwa instalasi listrik yang tidak direncanakan dengan baik dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah serius, seperti pemadaman listrik, kerusakan peralatan elektronik, dan risiko kebakaran. Oleh karena itu, penekanan pada perencanaan yang teliti dan penggunaan komponen yang tepat sangat diperlukan. Dalam menyusun rencana instalasi listrik Gedung Tower 3, berbagai aspek teknis seperti beban listrik, tata letak instalasi, sistem proteksi, dan kemudahan pemeliharaan telah dipertimbangkan. Selain itu, perkembangan teknologi terbaru di bidang kelistrikan dan energi terbarukan juga diintegrasikan untuk memastikan sistem yang dirancang tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan saat ini tetapi juga siap menghadapi tantangan di masa depan.

Electrical installation is an integral part of the electrical power system, comprising various interconnected electrical devices within a single scope. A good installation must be safe for humans and environmentally friendly. In the context of constructing modern buildings, such as Tower 3 at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), planning the distribution and installation of electrical systems is crucial. This process involves selecting materials that meet standards, planning reliable protection systems, and integrating the latest technologies for energy efficiency and sustainability. Well-planned and integrated electrical distribution and installation are essential to ensure the safety, comfort, and operational efficiency of the building. Efficient power distribution supports various activities within the building, including teaching, research, and administration. Experience shows that poorly planned electrical installations can lead to serious issues, such as power outages, electronic equipment damage, and fire hazards. Therefore, emphasis on careful planning and the use of appropriate components is necessary. In planning the electrical installation for Tower 3, various technical aspects such as electrical load, installation layout, protection systems, and maintenance ease have been considered. Furthermore, the latest developments in electrical technology and renewable energy are also integrated to ensure that the designed system not only meets current needs but is also prepared to face future challenges.
