Abstract

Pendidikan usia dini merupakan salah satu tahap serta proses penting bagi anak. Keberagaman metode pembelajaran menjadi tantangan utama khususnya bagi orang tua dan guru untuk menciptakan efektivitas dan keberhasilan dalam proses pembelajaran siswa. Desain bangunan sekolah menjadi salah satu bagian Utama yang mendukung metode serta proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Teori Rhizome Learning Space menjadi salah satu metode yang dipilih untuk lingkungan belajar fleksibel, interaktif, dan adaptif, yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan motivasi belajar anak yang diterapkan pada desain bangunan sekolah. Teori rhizome learning space dapat membantu pengelompokan kegiatan berdasarkan zoning ruang, konektivitas berdasarkan letak spasial ruang, dan efektivitas untuk menghindari kemacetan pada sirkulasi kendaraan dan kegiatan drop off serta pickup, dengan menggunakan konsep connection, diversification, dan transformative maka bangunan pendidikan taman-kanak-kanak dapat beroperasi secara maksimal bagi pengguna user. Rhizome learning space tak hanya mempengaruhi secara formal dan spasial namun memberikan dampak pada jenis perabot furniture yang dapat membantu mengembangkan kemampuan sensorik dan motorik anak.

Early childhood education is a crucial stage and process for children. The diversity of learning methods presents a major challenge, especially for parents and teachers, in creating effectiveness and success in the learning process. The design of school buildings is one of the main components that support the methods and learning processes in schools. The Rhizome Learning Space theory is one of the methods chosen for creating flexible, interactive, and adaptive learning environments that can enhance children's creativity and motivation, applied in the design of school buildings. The Rhizome Learning Space theory helps in grouping activities based on room zoning, connectivity based on spatial arrangement, and effectiveness in avoiding congestion in vehicle circulation as well as in drop-off and pick-up activities. By utilizing the concepts of connection, diversification, and transformation, the design of the kindergarten education building can operate optimally for its users. Rhizome Learning Space not only impacts the formal and spatial aspects but also affects the types of furniture that can help develop children's sensory and motor skills.
