Abstract

PT Jawa Power merupakan salah satu Produsen Listrik Independen (IPP) terbesar di Indonesia dengan perjanjian 30 tahun bersama PT PLN (Persero) yang dikelola oleh YTL Power International Berhad (YTLPI), mengoperasikan pembangkit listrik tenaga batu bara berkapasitas 1.220 MW berlokasi di Paiton, Jawa Timur. PLTU ini bergantung pada steam drum, komponen penting dalam boiler, untuk menghasilkan uap kering yang digunakan pada turbin. Penelitian ini menganalisis keandalan, ketersediaan, dan kemampuan pemeliharaan (RAM) pada sistem steam drum dengan menggunakan data pemeliharaan dari tahun 2019–2024 untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja dan strategi pemeliharaan. Analisis RAM dimulai dengan menghitung nilai TTF, TTR, penentuan istribusi, dan perhitungan RAM pada setiap komponen berdasarkan histori kegagalan. Control Level Steam drum (50HAD10CL501) memiliki tingkat keandalan terendah, mencapai 60% setelah 350 jam operasi, sedangkan Temperature Transmitter Economizer (50HAC53CT201) memerlukan waktu perbaikan terlama, yaitu 13 jam. Analisis pemeliharaan pencegahan atau preventive maintenance dengan failure rate dan didapat 1 data komponen yang direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan pemeliharaan yaitu pada komponen Safety Valve Steam drum (50HAD10AA192/AA193/AA194/AA195/AA196) pada tingkat keandalan 60 persen dengan interval waktu 9000 jam. Studi RAM ini mendukung perencanaan pemeliharaan yang lebih efektif dan efisien untuk meningkatkan kinerja PLTU serta dapat di implementasikan pada sistem alat PLTU lainnya.

PT Jawa Power is one of the largest Independent Power Producers (IPP) in Indonesia with a 30-year agreement with PT PLN (Persero) managed by YTL Power International Berhad (YTLPI), operating a 1,220 MW coal-fired power plant located in Paiton, East Java. The plant relies on the steam drum, a critical component in the boiler, to generate dry steam used in the turbines. This research analyzes the reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) of the steam drum system using maintenance data from 2019-2024 to optimize maintenance performance and strategies. RAM analysis starts with calculating TTF, TTR, distribution determination, and RAM calculation for each component based on failure history. The Control Level Steam drum (50HAD10CL501) has the lowest reliability level, reaching 60% after 350 hours of operation, while the Temperature Transmitter Economizer (50HAC53CT201) requires the longest repair time, which is 13 hours. Preventive maintenance analysis was also carried out with failure rate and obtained 1 component data recommended for maintenance, namely the Steam drum Safety Valve component (50HAD10AA192/AA193/AA194/AA195/AA196) at a reliability level of 60 percent with an interval of 9000 hours. This RAM study supports more effective and efficient maintenance planning to improve PLTU performance and can be implemented in other PLTU equipment systems.
